HOME FEATURES

The moment you walk into Compass Point 181, you'll be taken away by the unobstructed and breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico, right from your living room and private lanai. Here you can enjoy the smell of the ocean salt in the air, the sound of the waves crashing ashore and the most beautiful views of Sanibel's wildlife. This two-bedroom, plus den, can sleep up to six guests and is a rarity of the Compass Point complex. Whether it's pelicans diving down to catch their morning meals or a pod of dolphins swimming by, you'll truly enjoy the tranquility and peacefulness of this condo without ever feeling like you’re in a condo complex. You will have access to a storage closet, parking spot and elevator just steps from the front entrance, making it easy and convenient for your luggage, groceries and beach equipment.



As you walk into the condo you’ll notice a den area (considered 3rd bedroom) off to your left and from the kitchen that is perfect for younger children with a queen sleeper sofa, a TV and a dresser armoire. Across from the den area is the guest bedroom that features a king bed, a TV and a shared hallway bathroom. Walking further into the condo you’ll enter the spacious kitchen and living area that is tastefully decorated and updated with tropical and lavish touches. Off from the living room is the primary bedroom that features, not only a king bed and ensuite bathroom, but also has exquisite views of the Gulf as well.



If you’re not enjoying the beach, take a dip in the complex’s heated pool, play a game of tennis/shuffleboard or enjoy grilling out by the BBQ grills. Wonderful stay

This was our first stay at Compass Point and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The condo was clean and in pristine condition. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the view from the lanai was spectacular. This unit was a gem. the beach was spacious and not crowded at all. Only caveat would be the 3rd bedroom sleeper sofa. I would only recommend this for young children as it was not very comfortable to sleep on. Other than that, I would highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Family spring break

We love Sanibel and we were very excited to come back after a 7 years. Beach and pool in great shape, very nice condo, some inconsistent messaging with one room advertised to have 2 king sized beds, which was incorrect leading to one of our kids sleeping on a couch. Property grounds still a work in progress with minimal landscaping (understood given hurricane recovery). Condo was very nicely furnished, new appliances and very clean, beach closet well stocked with nice chairs and umbrella.

Great condo for our family of 6! Loved tree property greenery and beach. Only thing we would change would be the pillows and the sheets kept coming off the master bed because the mattress cover was so thick

Great Week in Sanibel

We had a wonderful stay at Compass Point # 181. The week after memorial day is perfect for weather and less crowds. The condo was very roomy with lots of space to spread out and the kids enjoyed the downstairs TV area for rainy evenings. The storage closet also had all the chairs, floats, etc. we needed. Great beach with lots of room!

Awesome condo on beach

We had a wonderful week at Compass Point 181. The unit was beautiful and the complex small and very nice. The pool area was beautiful! Only downside is that the dryer broke on Tues and they were not able to fix it during our stay. The management company was wonderful and dropped off extra towels, sheets and beach towels for us since we couldn’t dry anything. It would be nice to add plastic wine glasses to the kitchen to take to the pool.

The property is beautiful; we have been staying here for many years, but it apparently has new owners. This is a six person condo and there were barely enough dishes and glasses; we had to run the dishwasher or do dishes almost every night. Also, there were no plastic or melamine dishes/glasses; they were all replaced with glass ware, which is lovely but impractical. There were no extra bath linens, no extra sheets and no blankets.

Great family condo

The condo served us well for Thanksgiving week. We we’re able to use the table leaf to seat 9 for our turkey dinner. ( rented 2 condos for sleeping). The cabana was a total hit with the 3 preteens and provided a convenient bathroom close to the beach. Very comfortable accommodations! Plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, a wagon & other fun items in the storage unit.

We were not aware until the last day when reading about checkout procedure that we had access to a closet which I suppose had beach chairs etc in it. Fortunately #171, where our daughter’s family was staying, had multiple chairs. Otherwise I suppose we might have called management.

The property is well located and maintained. The grilling/pool area needs upgraded. Unit 181 is not worth the price. My experience was only electronically. There wasn't even anyone working at check in to say "welcome". There was no face to face contact throughout the week to assure we were enjoying ourselves. I seriously doubt that any of your leasing team leaves the office. My opinion - someone from the leasing team should thoroughly walk through each property prior to new renters moving in. You should have greeters at the property every Saturday welcoming and helping clients move in and addressing any immediate needs they may have. If you want to be an upscale vacation destination you need to act like one.

The condo was open and airy with a large porch for coffee and even with the heat as bad as it was, there was a breeze. What was called the cabana was actually a room set up as a perfect play room and tv room with a private shower for the kids. This was totally unexpected. The kitchen was better equipped than mine is and a pleasure to use. We were most pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our visit. The property was more than we expected. A great family layout. Had very little contact. We didn’t even have to check in. Simply picked up a packet from a mailbox when we river and left without a lengthy checkout.

Everything was well appointed and well equipped. They even had immaculate grilling tools for the community condo grills which we used several times. The grills were well maintained and worked perfectly. I believe her name was Sue and she answered my questions quickly and with an understanding heart during these uncertain times. She even suggested a guide to help us search for shark teeth on other islands and my three sons and I really enjoyed it.
