I apologize that the sheets for the second bed were not ironed and the bed was not made. We were unaware that two beds were required as this had not been indicated to us. On learning that a second bed was needed we immediately offered to come out and set things up (we only live 5 minutes away) - but we did not receive a response and so we assumed the guests were happy to make the bed themselves. Apologies if we misunderstood! The second bedroom is indeed smaller but does offer large amounts of storage built into the bed. We find that when we ourselves have guests, the single cupboard in the main bedroom is more than enough for all of us - but of course that may vary for different people. Incidentally, the bed in the second bedroom is a regular full-sized bed that has a clever mechanism that can make it 'shrink' if not in use. With regards to the curtains - that's a great point that we never noticed before. We have now installed thicker light blocking curtains. The cleaning of the flat is done by a professional cleaning company - and I apologize if this was not up to your standard. We have let them know of your feedback. From our perspective it would have been very constructive and helpful if you had communicated your misgivings during (rather than after your stay) so that we could have done our very best to immediately put things right. Hopefully you can visit once more in the future and we can prove to you that we have learnt and improved from your feedback!
