About this property

Gite de la cour pavée.

In a typically Alsatian farmhouse, the 140m² gîte is made up of 3 bedrooms including one on the mezzanine, a 50m² living room, a bathroom with WC, note that the bathroom is located next to the mezzanine bedroom (see the photos) a separate toilet on the ground floor. and a fully equipped kitchen, Restored in 2015, we have taken care to preserve the authenticity of this old stable which will not fail to surprise you! In summer the swimming pool is at your disposal!
Ideally placed to discover our region: Strasbourg, Wine Route and its medieval villages, Vosges or Black Forest, Baden Baden thermal baths, Europa Park, Château du Haut Koenigsbourg, Christmas markets The list goes on!
Weekend possibility.

The weeks in July and August as well as the weeks of Christmas and New Year are rented from Saturday to Saturday.

We can prepare meals for you (Alsatian specialties: sauerkraut, bite to the queen, bæckeofe, bibelakaes-sautéed apples, chicken with riesling etc...
pets accepted 5 euros per night.
sheets and towels provided as an option: 20 euros for double beds, 10 for small beds and 5 euros per person for towels.
Optional cleaning 95 euros.
Swimming pool hours: use from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. with the possibility of giving other times on request. We are very flexible regarding times.

The private pool is not really private

We booked this place for our family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers because of the size and the private pool. We were disappointed to find that access to the pool was restricted and that it is in the landlords garden. So to use the pool we had to go outside the rented property and into the landlords private area. Furthermore, it is difficult to use the living room properly due to steep stairs from the kitchen area to the living room. So we pretty much only used the kitchen area.

Concernant l'accès à la piscine, tout est noté dans le descriptif de la location, je vous invite à lire les descriptifs quand vous souhaitez louer un bien. Quant à la configuration des lieux, vous pouvez visualiser de nombreuses photos... Néanmoins je suis désolée que vous n'ayez pas apprécié votre séjour.....Nous mettons tout en œuvre pour que nos vacanciers soient ravis!

Beautiful house, delicious food, great base for exploring Strasbourg and Europa Park

Gerard was a lovely host, always only a text message away and ready to help. He speaks French and German but no English, which was okay. He was very cordial, friendly, and informative. The home is well-furnished and so unique! It is spacious and has enough room for at least 6 adults and a baby. Every little corner has a collection of something special and I especially loved the cozy room with the bunk beds and the dining table. Outside, you can swing and play table tennis. The property is completely self-service though, so you pay extra for bed linens and cleaning. There is the option of bringing your own and cleaning up after yourself. Gerard is also happy to prepare some food if you tell him ahead of time. Worth it! His Riesling cream sauce is so good. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

Gemütlich und so schön grün

Wir waren zufrieden. Würden auch wieder kommen. Das Haus ist urig und es gibt so viel zu sehen, dass immer was neues entdeckt wird. Die Betten waren etwas klein, wir schätzen 1,40m, aber für 3 Nächste absolut in Ordnung. Außenbereich ist so schön grün. Der Pool ist zeitlich begrenzt, für uns hat es gereicht und wir hätten sicher auch Zeit erbitten können. Die Hunde und Katze sind voll lieb und schmusig. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Neben einem sehr netten Vermieter erwartete uns ein super schönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit anschließendem Hof für die Kinder zum Spielen (Schaukel, Tischtennis, Federball). Auch ein Pool stand zur Verfügung. Straßburg (Strasbourg) ist nur eine knappe halbe Stunde entfernt und lohnt sich auch bei schlechtem Wetter. Gern wieder!

Einfach wunderschön, wie im Märchen

Eine wunderschöne liebevoll restaurierte Scheune. Wir waren 6 Personen und hatten auch einen Hund dabei. Wir hatten ausreichend Platz und haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Der Gastgeber war nett und freundlich. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Urlaub in besonderen Zuhause

Wir waren nur zwei Nächte im Nahe gelegenen Elsass. In den bequemen Doppelbetten liegt man unter einer großen Decke gemeinsam (wichtig zu wissen wenn man Bettwäsche selbst mitbringt) Den Pool, der im Garten der Eigentümer liegt, konnten wir zu abgesprochenen Zeiten benutzen.
