About this property
Bluebonnet Lodge, A Relaxing Cabin in the Forest.
Bluebonnet Lodge is at the end of a quiet, newly leveled road with several inches of ne rock for a wonderful drive to your cabin, and still within city limits and just a few minutes from all the restaurants and activities Hochatown has to offer, a great place for a family get together! Stay at the cabin and watch the deer under the trees or go to the lake, the golf course, Beavers Bend State Park or the Ouachita National Forest.w
The master bedroom with a king size bed and private full bathroom is on the ground floor. The two queen bedrooms upstairs each have their own full bathrooms.
Back on the ground floor the second family room/bunkroom has two bunkbeds, twins over Queens (the twins have a 175 lb weight limit). Both bunkbeds also have comfortable pullout twin size trundle beds, all together the cabin sleeps 14. The bunkroom has three sofas, high ceilings and views of the surrounding forest in three directions. With beautiful wood floor space, it features a shuffleboard table, a card table and a large screen tv. It has a door to the deck where the hot tub is, and double doors to the rest of the house.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware, appliances and tableware needed for large family cooking. The laundry room and a half bath are off the kitchen, as is the covered back deck where there is a gas grill and outdoor furniture, and a large hot tub. A customized playset in the back yard has swings, a slide and climbing wall.
The large firepit, with plenty of outdoor seating surrounded by some cool old totem poles, is in the center of a circular drive, making a safe and great place for a starry evening around a big camp fire.
Just over half a mile from the highway in the Northern Hills area, Bluebonnet Lodge is a quiet place for a relaxing stay, close to all the fun activities that Hochatown, Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park has to offer. 1.8 miles from off highway riding in the Ouachita National Forest, and 1.4 miles to Golf Course Road.
