We were attending a trade show for 3 days and decided to fly down early with friends to enjoy the sites and cuisine of New Orleans. David (the host) has an excellent location, just a 5 minute walk to the Convention Center with lots of great restaurants and local attractions near by. In the past we stayed at hotels. This unit was great for 4 adults. We will return.
We stayed here during a conference at the Convention Center. Great neighborhood. It was ideally located to walk to the conference (<10 min), and it was also walking distance to downtown, the Quarter (if you are willing to walk 30 min, which we were) and the Garden district. Plenty of trolleys if you don't want to walk. You don't want to be driving around here.
This well- located, secure property was perfect for the weekend. One bedroom was smaller with no windows which suited my friend who likes to sleep in. Very clean. 2 separate bathrooms with showers. Kitchen was equipped.
Two couples traveling together to attend a wedding. We also visited Jazz Fest. Both bedrooms are upstairs- one is very large and has huge windows and a closet, the other is much smaller and has no windows or closet but a handy rack for hanging and shelves outside. The large bedroom came equipped with ear plugs and although its not a super busy street, for this light sleeper, ear plugs were good. Wish I'd brought an eye cover! One bath upstairs and one bath downstairs.
Full size fridge and well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living room seating for four. Property manager super responsive- one light was out and he brought a ring light to help with wedding makeup. No parking on site- street parking available as well as gated lots. We parked the car the whole weekend in the garage by the convention center and used the streetcar just a short walk and ride share. Two Chicks Cafe there was an excellent breakfast spot. Cochon and Butcher a short walk. WWII museum just a block away. Great stay!
A coworker and I stayed here while we had a convention at the convention center. The location was perfect (we didn't rent a car, so I can't comment on parking). It was a 10-minute walk to the convention center and felt safe during the day (definitely would not walk alone there at night). Walking very fast to the Quarter took me about 20 minutes, and an Uber to the Quarter was less than $15. The condo was super clean and had plenty of towels/shampoo/conditioner/nice lotion/hairdryer/iron. I stayed in the bedroom with the windows, and the first night the noise was horrible - even though it isn't a busy street, it may have been garbage day in the very early hours? The next two nights were no problem. Noise is not an issue for the other bedroom because it's like a cave, which my coworker appreciated. There are also two box fans in the hall closet if you would like one. I found the bed and bedding to be super comfortable. There are two bathrooms with a shower - one is downstairs, so if you are each using 1 bathroom, just an FYI that the person using the one downstairs will be up and down getting ready. There's a gate to get into the building and then a locked door to the lobby; we felt very safe. Around the corner from the condo is a super cool bar/restaurant with a neat courtyard called Sidecar, and down the street less than a block away is a fantastic restaurant called Plates. We would definitely stay here again.
