Exceptional villa in Sorrento
This villa exceeded our expectations in every way! Our family of 7 adults visited Sorrento for a wedding and used the villa as a base for Capri, Naples, Positano, Agerola and Amalfi. Perfect location.
Entry in a courtyard was adjacent to a wide road, shared with a hotel so it is well lit and safe, easily mapped for taxis. Short safe walk to main square of Sorrento. The yard of the villa overhangs the Bay of Naples. Outdoor dining table, jacuzzi, lounge chairs and a telescope were used. Treadmill, yoga mat and beach towels were used. Towels were replaced as used.
A large living room with balcony, large tv with netflix (accounts from previous renters were still active).
All bedrooms had clean comfortable beds that were made daily. Overhead lighting, reading lamps, door locks, etc were in modern secure order.
We did not get either of the 2 safes working - they needed new batteries but we didn't follow up on this.
Bathrooms were clean and modern - heated towel racks! One off the living room, one at upstairs bedrooms, another off the kitchen - which leads to the yard. Main bedroom, with a cool medieval stone arch ceiling has 4th private bathroom, office with computer and printer. One caveat - stairs as the 2 storey villa is built into the cliff.
Anna the friendly cook and maid made breakfast every morning at our requested time. Spectacular!! Great coffee, eggs, pastries...We left with her bean recipe!! Yummy!! Concierge service too! This vrbo is awesome.
