The open plan living area in the cottage offers a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. There is also a bathroom with bath and shower over. Outside there are shared gardens and off road parking, as well as walks from the doorstep. Barn Owl Cottage is a great base all year round.

Well known for its prize-winning floral displays, this pretty little town also has a leisure centre which offers outstanding sports facilities, whilst the riverside park with children's play area is also worth a visit for anyone travelling with a young family. As well as the award-winning Nidderdale Museum – a lively collection of displays illustrating all aspects of life in the Dales – the town also hosts a number of Craft Workshops as well as excellent opportunities for walking and bird watching both up and downstream in the Nidd Valley.
