This is a fantastic, detached upside down barn conversion in a courtyard setting in the village of Snainton, near Scarborough, sleeping four people in two bedrooms.
Upstairs Downstairs Cottage is a superb, detached upside down barn conversion in a courtyard setting in the pretty village of Snainton, near Scarborough, and can sleep four people. The cottage has two ground floor bedrooms: a double bedroom and a room with a single day bed with an additional pull-out bed, which can make a king-size double on request. There is also a ground floor bathroom, a first floor open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area and an external utility. Outside there is ample off road parking, along with a paved courtyard patio with furniture and a barbecue and shared use of lawned gardens and grounds. With so much to see and do in the area, Upstairs Downstairs Cottage is a fantastic base for your holiday.
Amenities: Gas central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer in external utility, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD, radio, iPod dock, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot on request. Ample off road parking. Paved courtyard patio with furniture and BBQ. One well behaved dog welcome. Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
Town: The pretty village of Snainton is ideally situated between Pickering and Scarborough and at the foot of North York Moors National Park. Snainton has many amenities including a shop/post office and two pubs that serve food. For those that like horses, there is an excellent riding centre that provides for all ages and abilities. Nearby there is a superb driving range with a 9 hole golf course, cycle rides and quad biking.
A short drive away is Dalby Forest, with fantastic opportunities for walking, mountain biking and the opportunity to experience the Go Ape adventure park. Also easily accessible by car are the seaside resorts of Scarborough and Whitby, the market town of Pickering and the historic city of York.
