Gorgeous Skye Cottage :)
We found this cottage somewhat last minute - well a month before travel, which is last minute for a summer stay in Skye ;)
We'd almost given up hope of finding something that could accommodate our small group, but I'm SO glad I kept looking for a house instead of booking in a hotel.
This cottage was a dream!! So charming and authentic, so comfortable, with lovely friendly neighbors and an amazing "house book" with lots a interesting history of the house and island, list of things to do and places to see - very helpful!
The island can be quite busy this time of year with other travelers and tourist, so being able to retreat back to this secluded cottage in the evenings, and sit by the fire with a glass of whiskey and chat about the day was exactly what we needed :)
And the sunsets and stars at night were something we will never forget! Being from the city, we had never seen such a black sky with so many stars...truly magical :)
Thanks for such a great cottage - we will definitely stay again if we are ever lucky enough to return to Skye!! ♥
