Beautiful cottage on the Sorgue river

The cottage is in a wonderful location. Very quiet and peaceful. Comfortable bed. Well stocked kitchen. Owners very responsive to any requirements and easy to contact. Close to all amenities. Restaurants, supermarkets, petrol stations, shops and much more. However a car was essential for us. Outdoor furniture could do with updating. Highly recommend this property.

Lovely house on the Sorgue river

We enjoyed our two-week stay at the house and responses to our questions by Annie couldn’t have been quicker - she’s a great host. The house was comfortable and well-furnished, and decorated with many “brocante” items from the famous L’Isle Sur la Sorgue market. Our favorite part was sitting in the lovely, quiet yard next to the river which was visited every time by several friendly ducks who just wanted to “hang out” with us. We had hoped the house was closer in town but it wasn’t a problem for us to get around.

The perfect Luberon vacation base!

We loved our stay here! Annie is so warm and welcoming, and very responsive to questions and messages. She also made sure to let us know when special events were happening in town. We rented car and sometimes ventured out to Gordes, Roussillon, Arles, Avignon, Menerbes, etc... and some days we stayed in town and explored beautiful L'Isle Sur La Sorgue, which is the perfectly sized town for a quiet vacation while also having anything you might need. We loved kayaking, just steps down to the river from the house, eating dinner in the garden, walking into town, market days... really it's so lovely. We will be back!!!

If our hosts, Annie and Phillipe, have overlooked any aspect of their hospitality and warmth, I can't imagine what it would be. They have seen to everything. Just one example: if you return to the house after dark, a set of motion-detected lights turns on to illuminate the path to the door. A small thing but one of those important details. The house is comfortable and wonderful, the setting is idyllic and serene. For a couple in their 70s, the walk into town was manageable and enjoyable. I can't say enough good things about our experience at this delightful property.

Unforgettable house!

The house is perfect localized, on the bank of Sorgue River, with direct access to the water! The garden is beautiful and the house itself is a gem! Not only one can fond everything inside, and when I say everything, I don't mean all the amenities you need, but ALL the small and nice things you suddenly may need when you are far from home and didn't think to pack with you... Exceptionally clean! And so nice and good-tasting interior design! And Parking for 2 cars! And so quiet, just the water sounds and the birds outside! The location is ideal for anyone planning a Provence vacation, using the central location of the house in the region as a base for everyday trips! But the icing on the cake is the owner, Annie & Philip, a wonderful couple totally dedicated for providing the best and real authentic experience for you! They live the other side of the river, available and responsive to any question, always trying to help and make you feel at home! No words to express how much we enjoyed!

Sehr gute Lage und Qualität

Das Haus ist sehr sauber, gut möbliert und ausreichend ausgestattet. Die Lage ist auch gut - 15-20 min zu Fuß ins Städtchen. Der Fluß ist ein Bonus und gut zum Abkühlen. Als Idee: es wäre super, wenn ein paar (gern auch alte) Fahrräder zur Verfügung ständen, denn die 20 min hin und her können dann bei 35 Grad im Schatten etwas lang werden.

La maison est magnifique, décorée avec goût et très propre. La situation est idéale, proche du centre-ville, juste à côté de la Sorgue qui apporte un peu de fraîcheur tout comme les arbres du jardin. Nous avons eu la chance de faire la connaissance d’une famille de canards qui venait nous rendre visite tous les jours. Annie et Philippe sont charmants disponibles et discrets. La clim dans la maison est un vrai plus pour supporter ces grosses chaleurs estivales. Merci à vous.

Direkt am Fluss

Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet inkl. Starterpack Gewürze, Öl, Wein, Waschmittel etc. Das Haus liegt direkt am Fluß, zwei eigene Kayaks, Grill, viele Gartenstühle und - liegen. Sehr gute Betten, komplett ausgestattete Küche. Innenstadt ist in 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Super Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen / Aktivitäten im Vaucluse und Luberon. Anni, die Vermieterin kümmert sich wirklich um Alles, ist herzlich und bemüht, den Aufenthalt perfekt zu gestalten.

Wunderbar!

Wir haben eine wunderbare Ferienwoche in diesem sehr schönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Es ist auf hohem Niveau ausgestattet, hat eine schöne Sonnenterrasse und einen romantischen Garten, der direkt an der Sorgue liegt. Zu Fuß gelangt man in 15 Minuten entlang der Sorgue nach L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue oder mit einem Kanu, das ebenfalls zur Verfügung stand. Die Gastgeber sind außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit und standen uns mit Rat und Tat zu Seite. Viele wichtige kulturelle und Naturziele sind in kurzer Autodistanz zu erreichen. Petit coin de paradis

Annie et Philippe sont de merveilleux hôtes et très attentionnés. Ils nous ont tout équipé pour notre séjour avec bébé ce qui a été grandement apprécié. Annie avait vraiment pensé à tout! La maison est magnifique. Grande cuisine toute équipée, grand salon, lit très confortable, jardin/terrasse sur le bord de l’eau… nous avons adoré notre séjour. Nous avons même fait du kayak sur la Sorgue, génial! Milles merci à nos hôtes.

Belle semaine au bord de la Sorgues

Une maison très confortable, agréablement décorée et bien équipée Nous avons apprécié qu elle soit toute tournée vers le jardin et la rivière, le calme et la proximité du centre ville qu on atteint en 10 ou 15 mn à pied par une agréable promenade au bord de la rivière Annie est sympathique et accomodante Un super séjour animé par les colocataires locaux : oie et canards qui s invitent dans le jardin :-)

A-MAZE-ING!

Comfortable, well appointed and supplied, great value. You can walk to the city center in about 15 Minutes yet it feels like you’re in the country. Sit outside with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening and listen to the river run by. We couldn’t have been happier and we were here in November. We’ll be back in the late spring or early summer when we can get on the water.

Besser geht es nicht

Wir haben mit unseren erwachsenen Kindern eine wunderbare Woche in dem ebenso wunderbaren Haus direkt am Fluss verbracht. Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht und noch viel mehr. Der Garten ist groß und hervorragend gepflegt, durch die Lage direkt am Wasser konnte man sich auch bei hohen Temperaturen hervorragend dort aufhalten. beide Gastgeber waren äußerst nett und hilfsbereit bei Problemen – dies allerdings gar nicht gab. Das Haus hat seinen Namen Le Paradis völlig zurecht.

Excellent Séjour à refaire sans hésiter

Un petit coin bucolique en-dehors de l'animation du village qui est ravissant. La maison est très agréable et bien fraiche grâce à l'airco appréciable cet été.....literie nickel et il ne manque rien. Le plus les ballades en canoé sur la sorgue, la visite de notre ami canard et pour les courageux la baignade dans la sorgue très vivifiante...et les propriétaires sont charmants et toujours disponibles. Merveilleux séjour à L’Isle!

Maison charmante, très confortable et décorée avec goût. En pleine canicule, la climatisation était un luxe non négligeable. On peut se rafraîchir dans l’eau, très fraîche! Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et aux petits soins, merci encore pour leur accueil. On reviendra!

Erholsame Ferien direkt an der Sorgue
