About this property

The Bread Oven - MONTMELARD

Owners of an artisanal goat's milk soap factory located on site, Jean-Paul & Patricia welcome you to a charming authentic outbuilding of the 19th century, carefully restored with taste, nestled on a former agricultural estate completely rehabilitated a stone's throw away. of a charming typical little hamlet. Literally enchanting setting & site, nestled on a well-exposed south-west hillside overlooking a "balcony" over a vast "open" bocage plateau, with the famous Charolais cows grazing peacefully as close neighbors! Absolute calm & tranquility on the immediate edge of meadows & forests, in the hollow of a magnificent undulating country cirque surrounded by wooded hills, sublime preserved setting of greenery & nature nestled under the mountain of Saint-Cyr, the highest point in southern Burgundy (unique belvedere offering an exceptional panoramic view as far as Mont-Blanc on a clear day!). Gîte of very good comfort with modern "compact" architecture. Warm contemporary character mixing Nordic & industrial influences combined with careful restoration (original stone beams & walls), enhanced by the conservation of an old traditional bread oven (visible in the "showcase" in the gîte). Cocooning and cozy atmosphere. Very charming. Pleasant large panoramic balcony terrace. Sumptuous panorama & landscapes. Magical bonus, you have a sheltered outdoor spa open to the surrounding countryside! Composition: Detached house adjoining the owners' house (total independence without vis-à-vis / access by 400m of passable dirt road / access to the gîte by stairs descending on the side of the slope from the courtyard-parking). Wireless. Electric heating. Raised ground floor: kitchen-living room-living room (sofa bed 2 p. 140x190cm). 1st floor: 1 bedroom (double bed 140x190cm), shower room (shower/wc).
