About this property

King of The Mountain

King of the Mountain in Gatlinburg is a 3 story magnificent 5000 sqft custom-built cabin with 3 Master Suites all with walkout balconies, a lovely hand built bunk room with a basketball court, 2 large hot tubs, outdoor fire-pit, arcades and plenty of parking spaces. NO CARPET AT ALL THROUGHOUT ENTIRE HOUSE WHICH KEEPS MY HOUSE MUCH CLEANER THAN MOST. 5000sqft of living and 2400sqft of private porches and balconies.
Sleeps 14 people comfortably unlike most cabins that jam pack the same amount with half of the living square feet. Also, my cabin is not built like the new developments on top of neighbors. It is privately nestled on 4 acres of land in the middle of a hill just minutes to the entrance of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You will feel like you are in the Park with no neighbors next door, only beautiful trees and woods. This elegantly furnished cabin is located within hiking distance of Ober Gatlinburg (1/4 mile) and only minutes from the new Rocky Top Sports World facility, as well as all of the attractions, shopping and dining that Gatlinburg has to offer! Best of all it is newly furnished with all new wood like floors. New granite and sink in kitchen and tasteful designs throughout. Almost guaranteed to view a black bear during your visit since so close to the National Park.

Our cabin is one of the easiest to reach without steep hills to climb. You will enjoy the ease of getting to and from the cabin.
The newly paved driveway leads to a level parking area with plenty enough space for 6 cars (which is very hard to find with new development).
Possibly the only cabin with a half court basketball court which the kids love.

Steps lead up to the newly stained porch where you enter into the bottom level of this 3-story cabin, featuring the game room with a pool table, poker table, bumper pool, ping pong table, a dual person Multi-Arcade including all of your old time favorites (PAC MAN and Donkey Kong) and 2 separate arcades Golden Tee and Mortal Kombat, gas fireplace, lounge sofa, a large flat-screen HDTV. The enclosed bedroom features a king bed, walk in closet, access to the deck, full bathroom with a 2 person jetted tub, double vanity and stand-up shower.

Stepping out onto the spacious deck, you can relax in one of the comfortable chairs or enjoy the amazing outdoors in one of the two 8-person hot tubs.

Off the deck, you will find the outside grill where guests can enjoy preparing a meal together alongside the fire-pit.

One level up, you will enter into the spacious living room, featuring a leather sofa, love seat, 2 recliners, log burning fireplace, a large flat-screen Smart HDTV with access to the deck.
To the left is the fully equipped kitchen with bar seating for three and an adjacent closet with top of the range washer and dryer. There are two dining tables that seat sixteen people comfortably and the dining area has access to the deck.
The master bedroom on this level features a king bed, walk in closet, access to the deck, full bathroom with a 2 person jetted tub, double vanity and stand-up shower.

The deck on this level features plenty of rocking chairs and a picnic table where guests can relax and enjoy the wooded view.

Another level up to the top level, guests enter onto a landing looking down over the living area below with amazing views through the walls of windows. To the right, you will find the third master suite, featuring a king bed, walk in closet, access to the deck, full bathroom with a 2 person jetted tub, double vanity and stand-up shower. Down the hall, you will find a bedroom with two queen bunk beds, a twin bunk bed, a dresser, a large flat-screen HDTV, a bathroom with shower and access to the full deck.

Guests can enjoy Internet and WiFi throughout the cabin.

All King Of The Mountain guests are eligible to enjoy the privileges of Chalet Village Owner's Club which includes the use of all 3 convenient Chalet Village Clubhouses with pools, baby pools, pool tables, and two tennis courts, complete with snack bars to enjoy a full day of sun. These are all located on Ski Mountain, pools are open May - September and are only available to Chalet Village Guests.

Don't forget there are so many things to do just 8 miles away in Pigeon Forge: Dollywood, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini-Golf, Rowdy Bear Mountain Coaster, Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Show, Comedy Barn Theater, Smoky Mountain Opry, Amazing Animals, Top Jump Trampoline and Extreme Area or Crave Golf Club, and the Island in Pigeon Forge!

UH-MAZING!
This was the perfect stay! We had 3 families stay in the same house and had plenty of space. Communication was perfect...quick and effective from the owner. So much thought was given into what we should know before showing up and what was provided for us while we were there. The playroom and Jacuzzis kept us busy while we were in the house. The layout was great with plenty of room for all the kids on the 3rd floor. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and we cooked a lot! Very private even though there are other cabins in the area. We are from Florida so if you aren't used to mountains, the driveway is steep but our doordasher was on a motorcycle in the rain so that just may be an us thing lol.

Great vacation at the perfect cabin!
The cabin was exactly as it was listed and even more roomy than the pictures could depict. This cabin comfortably housed our group of 12 and made for great evenings together on the main floor. Its close proximity to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was great and made getting out and back extremely easy. Ryan was a great host and stayed in contact with me throughout the trip and responded quickly to the questions we had. Definitely recommend this location if you want a hassle free vacation.

Annual business planning session
Overall was a good place to stay. The property needs more bath towels and washcloths available. Showers are small. One of the kitchen chairs had been broken prior to our stay and poorly repaired so that when one of our family sat on it, the leg broke out from under them, throwing them to the floor. This broken chair and poor repair may not have been known by the property owner.

I live in the New Orleans area and I have been doing rentals since 2010.
I enjoy managing my own properties and not allowing a large company to so call manage it. I take pride in keeping my properties up to high standards and I choose only the best cleaners since that it is so important.

Why they chose this property

I love this cabin because it is super spacious with loads of balconies and secluded from all traffic and neighbors. You will really feel like you are in the woods but with luxury accommodations and within minutes to downtown Gatlinburg and the National Park.
I also chose this cabin because of the ease of parking and getting to and from the cabin on brand new roads. Our house is so easy to get to without feeling like you won't make it up to the house like many cabins. A normal car can get to the house. Also, you will have a great chance of viewing bears since we are so close to the National Park.

What makes this property unique

I just renovated all of the flooring in the house to a wood like plank to keep the cabin feel.
Absolutely no carpet. Brand new leathered granite countertops in the kitchen with all new furnishings throughout. This is not your typical cabin.
