About this property

Glamping near Rocky Mountain National Park Dogs, Cool Nights, and S'mores!

Ready to experience a cool summer break in the Rockies? Glen is the perfect solution. Your own space, lots of sunshine, and a private patio with a gas firepit.

Have dog? No problem there is a dog walk nearby, plus an RV community where most of the employees have their own fur babies.

Don't take our word for it. This is what our customer said in their 5 Star Review June 2023:
"If you want to see if living in an RV is for you, look no further. Dog friendly and perfect for us. Tom was extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the RV park and the peaceful pace. The price was great and it is hard to find a nice place that will take a dog. Thank you"

These are just some of the reasons we earned the VRBO "Premier Host" designation

Create a vacation your family will remember forever! Come up to the mountains, watch the elk, and explore the roads, trails, and shops in and around Estes Park.

Our style of 'Glamping" means you don't need a truck, you don't need to know how to back up a camper, and you don't need to rent both camper and an RV site. You just show up with your food, dog treats, beverages, clothes, shampoo and enjoy the Rockies.

Glen is fully stocked with towels, pillows, bedding, dishes, cooking utensils & camp chairs. New for this year: The outdoor cooking station featuring our two burner Camp Chef stove. Can you smell the bacon?

Why everyone loves Glen:
It’s a great design for a couple or a family with kids. Its single super slide makes the open concept living room/dining room/kitchen the perfect size, and the walk-through bathroom (with tub) allows privacy without making it cramped.

New to camping? We will show you how everything works.

New to renting? Take a look at what is included. You won't find a bunch of add-on extra charges.

Glen is fully stocked -
- RV Site with a concrete patio, water, sewer, 30 amp electric
- Camp Chairs
- Dishes, cups, and glasses
- Paper towels, plates, napkins
- Silverware
- Serving bowls and utensils
- Skillets and Pots
- Coffee Maker
- Toaster
- Bath Towels
- Cleaning supplies
- Flashlight
- Sheets, Pillows, and Pillowcases

But Estes isnt just a one trick pony. There are lots of things to do and see. There are hundreds of miles of nearly new or repaved roads in the area. We can give some great ideas on places to go in addition to the National Park.

Glen's a Hit!

From Rob
... Highly recommend this rental. Trailer was immaculate and in "like new" condition. We will rent this unit again. The Owners were very attentive and helpful. Delivery was smooth and on time to our RV park next to the beach. Had a great time on our first RV vacation in Florida.

From Doc
...I stayed in this unit with my 4-year-old son on a trip to Disney. We had a blast! It was clean and roomy.

From Kim
... Glen is beautiful, we love it!!!

Did they say, Disney???
Yep! Glen is a Road Warrior, not a TPQ (Trailer Park Queen). He was built to travel, so he follows us to Florida in the winter, and back to Colorado in the summer! After being trapped in a storage building for most of his life he just loves to run free.

Below is some important information from the Park Service
IMPORTANT. Rocky Mountain National Park has timed entry permits again this year. Technically there are two types of Passes. One is called the Bear Lake Road Pass. It is VERY limited so if you want to go to Sprague or Bear Lake it's critical you get your pass early. That pass lets you go to both Bear Lake as well as the rest of the roads including Grand Lake.
The second option is the "rest of the park" pass. You can everywhere except Bear Lake Road.

This reservation period will be from 9 a.m. (MDT) to 2 p.m. (MDT).
Reservations are not required for this area before 9 am or after 2pm.

Glamping in “Glen” in Estes Park,CO

My husband and I as well as our 2 dogs, Hank and Ricky, had a great time! The 5th Wheel camper/RV was perfect! We were very comfortable and when our son came for the last 2 nights there was enough room for him too! Tom was great to work with and did a great job of explaining how everything worked! We would love to stay in Glen again sometime!

Definitely recommend!

Tom was super easy to communicate with and quick to respond to our questions before and during our stay. My husband, myself and our three teenage boys stayed in the rv and there was plenty of room. Glen was well stocked with everything that we needed. The location was perfect for us, as we spent most of our time in the RMNP but is also just a few minutes from town. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be returning on our next trip to Estes!

By far the best stay

From booking to checking out, Tom was so communicative with us. He made sure all our questions were answered and even met us at the entrance when we got there to make sure we got to the right place. He went over everything we needed to know about the camper and the location. We’ve stayed in many rentals and this was by far the best interaction we’ve had. The camper was clean and is sooooo loved by the couple. We would stay here again and again!

Amazing!

My son picked RMNP for his senior trip. I am so glad he did. Tom is an excellent host. He quickly showed us how everything worked in the trailer. There is plenty of storage for a family of five. The beds are comfortable. It was nice to have our own bathroom. We watched several thunderstorms over the mountain. Elk frequented the campground as well. It was extremely easy and close to get everywhere we wanted to go. Thank you for amazing accommodations so we could enjoy our trip.

Wonderful stay in Glen!

We had a wonderful four night stay in Estes Park. The host, Tom, was easy to communicate with and was extremely helpful while also managing to give us our privacy. We stayed in the camper with our two children, ages 4 and 7, and it was the perfect size and included all of the amenities needed. All we really needed to bring were our clothes and groceries and everything else was provided. It was a very simple and convenient way to “camp”. The location of the campground is easily accessible to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes. The camper and campground were quiet and clean. Our girls enjoyed the playground at the campground, walks down to the river, and many closeup wildlife viewings! I would highly recommend this for a fun, unique, and convenient place to stay!

Peace and quiet

There might be more picturesque sites, but this one was awesome for the price. We were able to have our fur babies, a rescue kitten and a 7 yo doxie who loved the gophers in camp. The trailer was great and the neighbors were awesome as well.

Our first but not Last

Tom is very inviting. Meeting us at the Camper and showing us all the “little” items and how to work everything. We had no problems during the stay and enjoyed it immensely! We even woke up one morning to a BEAUTIFUL family of Elk grazing outside our door. We LOVE the area and plan to return . The property is located in the perfect spot of town. Easy access to EVERYTHING! I am also recommending to my family and friends even co workers to stay here.

About the host

Hosted by Tom and Marilyn Edwards

Host profile image
Marilyn and I began full time 5th wheeling in 2013. We have been to 40 states and hundreds of campgrounds, but in the summer we have found Manor RV Park to be the perfect location. With retirement in mind we bought a second 5th wheel "Glen", a nearly perfect 33 foot camper that pulls like a dreams, and is very nice inside and out. We make it available to our customers during the summer, and use it for our own travel needs.

During the winter, Glen is also available and has been used for an island retreat, a guest house for Christmas, a family re-union, and as a monthly winter escape.

Why they chose this property

Great experiences and memories don't just happen. Want memories of campfires and smores? Want a great photo of mountains or animals? You have to actually put yourself in the place where those things actually are! Estes Valley is only about an hour and a half from the Denver airport, but it's a world that is entirely different. We offer a unique opportunity, not just a camper.

What makes this property unique

Prior to retiring, I traveled the country for twenty years. trust me when I say staying in an RV rather than being in a motel or condo has many advantages. You have the full RV to yourself. Plus you have your own patio and picnic table where you can sit and watch the animals and enjoy the cool weather. We make it easy. Everything is set up and ready to go for you. Just show up with your food, clothes, and beverages and enjoy the mountains.
