A fantastic spot just to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We almost got bored of watching the kingfishers flitting around the river. The house is lovely and welcoming and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area.

Split stay in perfect property

We had a perfect time as a family of 5 adults revisiting this property after 30 years. I have left a full review from our second stay here as we did a split stay, travelling to another area in the middle of our 2 week holiday. However, I will say again that the house is idyllic. I don't think there is another house with such a perfect setting.

Perfect stay in perfect property

We came here as a family group of five adults following a favourite family holiday here nearly 30 years ago. This property is truly amazing. Character, space and a perfect location. We could have spent the whole holiday just enjoying the views, wildlife and tranquillity of the outside space as well as enjoying the character of the inside. Claire was extremely helpful and very easy to communicate with, providing helpful information and quick responses to queries. I cannot praise this property enough, it is stunning. We honestly did not want to leave and will not wait another 30 years before visiting again!
