A really nice place for a short holiday

It is a traditional gite with plenty of character - built of stone and with interior beams. There was sufficient parking for our two cars. Although on a main road, it was very quiet. It is located on the outskirts of the village, a little too far for easy access on foot. There is a good supermarket in the village, and various restaurants a short drive away on the coast. It is very conveniently placed for Cancale which is a very nice place to spend a day or two. The living/dining room was of a good size and quite comfortably furnished and the adjoining kitchen was quite small but well equipped. Additional facilities including washing machine and an extra fridge were in the adjoining garage/utility room. The 3 upstairs bedrooms were of a good size - hire of bedding was at a small extra cost. We were there during a heat wave and the upstairs rooms can get very warm at night, The gite was well equipped for an infant, with a comfortable cot, changing mat, baby bath, and high chair, although the latter had a loose tray which limited its usefulness, and there are stairgates at the top and bottom of the quite steep stairs. The decking area immediately behind the gite is a sun trap, with loungers, chairs, a table with umbrella and a barbecue. It is also possible to access the owner's garden where there are a swing and a slide. Sylvie, the owner, is very nice and extremely helpful. We really had a wonderful week and we would certainly consider returning to stay again!

Schönes Ferienhaus, alles vorhanden was man braucht. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Für Ausflüge und Strandbesuche wird ein Auto benötigt.

Urlaub in der Nähe von Saint Malow

Wir haben uns wunderbar erholt. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war nicht gut, dafür aber mit der Vermieterin ausgezeichnet. Sie war jederzeit für uns gut erreichbar und konnte die kleinen Problemchen auch sofort klären. Aufgrund der Lage der Unterkunft konnten wir die Umgebung sehr gut erkunden.

Schönes Haus, nette Gastgeber

Wir hatten mit 2 Familien (4 Erw. + 2 Kinder) einen guten Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ersteckt sich über 2 Etagen. Mit einem großen Bad mit Dusche im OG. Eine kleine, weitere Dusche befindet sich im EG. Toll sind zwei separate Toiletten.... Ausstattung ist gut. Die Kücheneinrichtung und E-Geräte sind teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen.... Sauberkeit wird nicht ganz so groß geschrieben, aber dennoch in Ordnung. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und der Ort ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung und ans Meer. St. Malo ist 15 km entfernt. Le Mont St. Michel ca. 28 km. Vom Haus aus sind im Umkreis von ca. 2 km ein kleiner Supermarkt mit Tankstelle, eine Apotheke und ein Bäcker erreichbar. Für uns passte das. Der Kontakt zur Agentur und auch direkt mit den Vermietern war sehr nett und stets verbindlich. Vielen Dank.

Bon rapport qualité prix

Séjour appréciable. Avec 2 couples dont 2 enfants de 12 et 9 ans. Gîte en bord de route, mais ne nous a pas dérangé pendant le séjour. Parquet à l'étage qui craque un peu. Manque peut-être un peu de rangement dans la salle de bain de l'étage. Séjour salon agréable, et spacieux. Cuisine manque un petit peu de place, mais grande arrière cuisine au top. Nous avions apporté notre cafetière. Nous n'avons pas utilisé la salle de bain du bas, car il y a seulement une douche. Terrasse fermée très cosy, mais attention pas d'accès réel au jardin et à la balançoire. Dans l'ensemble très satisfait et bon rapport qualité prix. C'est ce que nous recherchions.
