House was nice and as advertised. Hot tub never got hot. Highest temp was 91 F. Which is definitely not hot enough. Also due to the major snow storm I contacted the property manager with my concerns about getting stuck on the mountain with over 2ft of snow expected. Asked if I left a night early if they would refund the last night due to the storm. They said no. I would have hoped that they would not want renters to get stuck in their property due to safety concerns. Disappointing.

Rainy peaceful weekend

The house location and view were amazing. The house was a little dated, but nothing we couldn’t deal or live with. However, the mattress in the master bedroom should be replaced. It is a mattress I would expect to find at a very cheap motel, and not a house in Deep Creek lake. Besides the rain and bed, it was a great trip.

Terrific House close to Wisp

This house was clean, well-maintained, and the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking tools. The house was decorated very nicely for Christmas. This house is located just a few minutes drive from the Wisp lodge and we would definitely rent here again!

Beautiful House

We loved this house and the location up on the mountain. It's still close to everything but quiet and private. The hot tub was a great addition as was the air hockey table. Could have been a little cleaner. Old water bottles laying around and some food on the couches. I also noticed a dried blood stain on the upstairs mattress pad and stained pillows in the main level bedroom. Those items should be replaced ASAP. Upstairs bedroom could use blinds on the windows. Hard to sleep if you are sensitive to light. I had a sleep mask which was helpful.

I booked this house for myself and my family. I felt overall that the house was okay, but there were definitely some concerns that arose as the weekend went on.First, the sliding back door to the deck of one of the downstairs bedrooms locked, but didn’t shut all the way. So even though it was locked, you could open the door about an inch. I think it needs replaced. Another door needing replaced is the sliding screen door from the kitchen to the top deck. It had some rips/tears in it, and also doesn’t stay on the tracks whatsoever. The king bed upstairs had 2 box springs under the mattress. The 1 boxspring was completely broken, making the bed very lopsided. In that same bed, we noticed that the mattress pad cover had a blood stain & urine/bodily function liquid stains on it. We didn’t notice until check out because the sheets were covering. 2 of the keurig makers didn’t work- 1 needing cleaned, other needing a filter. 1 of the stove burners didn’t work either. Kitchen is fully stocked, but majority of pans need replaced- peeling Teflon.Some positives about this house was the location. It’s 4 mins away from the lake, bars, restaurants, and about 10 mins away from swallow falls. The house doesn’t have its own outdoor trash cans, but was in walking distance to the trash deposal making it super convenient to dispose of garbage. They provided plenty of towels and clean sheets. The deck was big with awesome new chairs. They also had tons of games to play.

Overall our stay was great. The location and area is beautiful. Walkable and safe. We did have a few issues that were noted during our stay.We arrived about 30 minutes early and someone was there finishing the check in. Apparently there was a TV remote needed replaced and put in a service ticket. Because of that, we were unable to check in before the 4pm time. When asked if we had to wait until he returned, she said no but due to their system she couldn't unlock the door until 4pm. We just hung outside on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful day. The place was as described but it definitely needs a cleaning. The front of the microwave, cabinet doors and refrigerator door were sticky and dirty. Some cobwebs in window corners.All the exterior doors were hard to lock. It took some time to figure out how they worked but eventually did. Ice maker is broken, half the hot tub jets were not functional and some of the lights outside didn't work. The first morning, we were startled to find a maintenance man draining the hot tub. He did not announce he was there nor were we given warning. Why wasn't that done before we arrived? We were in the hot tub the night before.2 days before our departure, we arrived back at the place to find 2 bins blocking the door. We moved them but felt like they should have waited to deliver the clean sheets and not block the door. Overall, the house is great but the property management company needs to check on communicaion and cleaners.
