Just had a few hiccups communicating with the property manager about the door code when trying to initially enter house. Loved the place and would definitely stay there again. Would highly recommend to others.
The pictures don’t do this place justice. The cabin and property are beautiful and it is the perfect location to bring your atvs. We really enjoyed having the pond to fish also. We weren’t aware Mena is dry so don’t forget to stop ahead of time.
WPG Hideaway was a true hidden treasure! The serenity of the property was 2nd to none. Definitely a must for anyone wanting to disconnect from the craziness of life and enjoy nature at it's best! The cabin was very nicely decorated and had everything you might need and then some! The beds were sooooo comfortable and the cabin as well as the property were very well maintained and extremely CLEAN inside and out! We look forward to out next visit!
We selected this property because it was very close to where other family members were staying at WPG Getaway. Overall, we loved the cabin. The outdoor space was incredible. The location is perfect for easy access to lots of trail riding. We found many places to swim and relax. So many memories were made! The only con is that there is only one bathroom. After long days of riding, we came back covered in dust and everyone was rushing to get in the shower. An outdoor shower or at least a water hose would have been awesome! Would still go back though! Highly recommend!
Such a wonderful fun experience for Grandkids and Grandparents alike! The grounds around this darling cabin is a dream come true for 4 city kids. The wide open spaces, the fishing pond and the giant decks supplied HOURS of fun for everyone. The children loved the catch, name and release experience with the fishing. There are fun creeks all around the area for exploring.
The house was extremely comfortable and private. The kitchen counter is huge, which is just what I needed for all of us. A nice extra large tv in the living room.
We were visited by deer every early evening, which was a thrill for the children.
Can’t express enough how much we loved this cabin and the entire experience! We highly recommend and we will return again next year!
Thank you!
We came to ride Wolf Pen Gap and this was the best place to stay. We could ride directly to the trailhead and after a hot dusty day of riding it was a joy to come back and relax on the deck.
The house was immaculate and well supplied.
Communication with the owner was easy and quick.
Thank you for offering your lovely place for our WPG adventure.
We absolutely loved this house. Perfect location and scenery was beautiful. We brought our ATV and it was fun being able to ride to the trails from the house.
Loved the house, property and location! The house was really clean, well stocked, plenty of outdoor patio and sitting areas, the pond is a great addition as well. Great place for a staying in restcation or bring the side by sides and hit the wolf pen gap trails. Trailhead is close to the property so we were able to ride back and forth no problem. Looking forward to going back and exploring more of the area!
This is our second visit to this property and we plan
to visit again! Everything is just as described and super convenient to the riding trails. When not riding, we enjoyed sitting on the deck relaxing , watching all of the deer in the yard feeding. We highly recommend!

This place is breathtakingly beautiful. God's beauty shines at this gorgeous property. Her decorations throughout the place are just perfection. The amenities she provides are outstanding. We sat on the porch and just took in God's beauty. Recommend this place with 10 stars. We will definitely be coming back!!!!
This cabin is beautiful, well stocked, and perfect for a family stay. During our stay we were able to see the local wildlife, hike the local trails, and cook for Thanksgiving. The surroundings are breathtaking. Our Thanksgiving felt like being in a movie and we all want to go back. If you're looking for a perfect cabin getaway in the mountains, we highly suggest this rental.

Amazing Get Away
The property is BEAUTIFUL. It is private but not isolated. The house is good for a small family and short visit. Not a place to make big meals indoors, but the fire-pit is SO spectacular. It has a cooking grate that spins into place for cooking hotdogs, burgers, and then effortlessly spins out of the way to have a large campfire. Be sure to ask for wood in advance. The picture shows a full stack of wood, but there was none when we arrived. The owner's son, who lives nearby provided a little... but a very nice neighbor brought a bunch over and we had fires every night!
HEADS up, two important pieces of advice. If you use Google or Apple maps, they will take you a slightly different location. Make sure to connect with the owner prior to getting there to get the directions. We could not find it and could not reach the owner for 2 hours after arriving. Also the property uses well water. If not used regularly it gives off a strong sulphur smell. We did not use any water the first night. The next day, the owner's daughter-in-law told us to run the hot water until it drains completely and it may take two runs. We did this and the smell was gone.
All in all, this property is located on the most beautiful and peaceful piece of property; we had a hard time leaving!
