About this property

Arosfa is a spacious 4 bedroom house located in the heart of Laugharne.

Ground floor - large kitchen diner that leads on to a spacious living room.

First floor - 1 x double with en-suite bathroom, 1 x double, 1 single and a family sized bathroom

Second Floor - Twin Bedroom with en-suite,

Outside is a paved tiered garden, perfect for BBQs but if you'd prefer to go out and meet some of the locals then it is close to the New Three Mariners pub and Browns Hotel - famed for being the place the poet Dylan Thomas chose to have a drink.

Although Laugharne itself is very picturesque and has everything you need for a stay, the town is ideally situated for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire is only a short drive away with the pretty seaside town of Tenby a 20 minute drive away.

Laugharne itself is on an Estuary. The nearest beach with facilities is Pendine, a short 7 min drive. There are cafes, shops and pubs here and at low tide a huge expanse of sand with lots of rock pools to explore if you go around the headland.

Being so central to Laugharne the location is ideal for most. There are the odd night when the proximity of the Mariners can be heard at the weekend. For most it is not an issue.

Perfect holiday house

This is the second time we have stayed at Arosfa, the house meets all our needs and the whole family enjoys staying there. It is a perfect base from which to explore the area and visit the superb nearby beaches. We forgot some swim wear in the washing machine and the owners could not have been more helpful and posted it on to us.

Great stay!

Great house, lots of space, secure garden for the dogs. Jenny was quick to reply, flexible and no long list of rules for the house, which meant we felt very relaxed! Laugharne is gorgeous. Definitely recommend The Ferryman deli for Spanish groceries, tapas and amazing coffee and cakes! We’ll absolutely be back - thanks Jenny!

Great location

Fantastic house, very spacious and easy check-in. Great location for exploring Laugharne and other nearby towns. There was noise from the pub on the corner daily until late but it didn’t deter our stay. We would definitely return to this house.

Main summer holiday for family of 5,grandparents and a dog

Spacious property in fabulous village. We had a great time but there are a couple of things that would make it much better. House let down by outside space. Garden table and chairs very tatty/broken. No umbrella or natural shade unless you want to sit by the bins under the washing line. An umbrella would have been great. Inside, the upstairs bedroom had not been usable for the last two nights due to the extreme heat, we appreciate this weather is abnormal. The pub and hotel beer garden did produce some noise all week but this was OK. Friday night was karaoke night. Not sure if this is a regular feature or not. Noise was terrible kept us all up till after 1 am. Would stay again very happily with ear plugs
