Summary:
Canmore - a true mountain experience!

Located at the edge of downtown, our centrally located accommodation is a stone's throw away from all that this small mountain town has to offer including shops, restaurants, amenities, hiking and biking trails.

This light and bright condo which is at the phase of getting upgrades is located on the second floor in a vibrant multi-use building and offers a large deck of surrounding views of both the Lady MacDonald Mountain and the Grotto Mountain for you to enjoy.

The Space:
Located at the edge of downtown, our spacious one bedroom condo is getting its upgrades and offers all the comforts of home. With a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, two queen beds, queen pull out memory foam mattress sofa bed, 2 TVs and large deck with sitting to entertain. Air Conditioning. Lock Box Entry.

Our centrally located accommodation is within walking distance from Main Street shops, art galleries, restaurants, amenities including two large grocery stores. With hiking and biking trails starting right at your front door. Rental companies are also just within a couple of blocks of walking, should you wish to rent a bike, paddleboard or rocking climbing gear.

This condo offers a large deck for outdoor entertaining while you overlook the magnificent views of Lady MacDonald and Grotto Mountain.

A great way to finish off your day is to experience one of the many gourmet restaurants that the town has to offer - and there are many for you to choose from! No taxi’s needed - many of them are within walking distance from the condo.

*** Please note access to the condo requires taking a flight of stairs.
*** This condo which can already accommodate a maximum of 6 guests can be rented with our adjoining condo, The Mountain Loft, for larger family or getaway gatherings. Rates available on request based on availability.

The Neighborhood:
This apartment is in walking distance to downtown, restaurants and bars. Should you require groceries for your stay two major grocery stores are within a ten minute walk or three minute drive. Very closely situated is also a French bakery, a locally owned coffee bar, a small convenience store, a liquor store, take out restaurants and a fully service restaurant and bar. Directly behind the building is the town's recreation facility - Elevation Place, offering an indoor climbing, swimming pools, hot tubs, extensive gym, library and art gallery.

Getting Around:
Canmore offers public transportation, with all areas of Canmore being serviced. As well as a Canmore-Banff-Canmore bus service. Please see Timetable Schedules pamphlets left for you at the apartment. Should you wish to rent a bike - there are many rental companies in town that can assist you.

Other Things to Note:
The condo is located on the second floor at the front of a light commercial building. There can be light to moderate noise throughout the day and evening.

Should there not be an available parking spot directly outside of the apartment - please feel free to utilize other parking available at the front or the rear of the building marked Benjamin Moore.

As hosts we strive to provide you, our guests, the comfort in knowing that your accommodation has been cleaned to the strictest standards.

This includes, the accommodation being vacant hours prior to your arrival. Our cleaning team then performs a deep clean throughout the unit, with a focus on high-touch points. (Door handles, railings, TV controls, light switches)

We will have both disinfectant wipes and spray for your use during your stay. Hand sanitizer is also provided.

Nice apartment, poor location.
Nice, well equipped and comfortable apartment but poor location on busy Canmore street above a pizzeria in a small shabby shopping center. Impossible to eat on balcony because of the noise and the environment. Communication with management OK but details on address and access are made available uselessly at the last minute, and later than promised in the documentation. It's impossible to know about this kind of location when consulting the ad on VRBO. Overall too expensive for this kind of location.

Hidden Gem
We would definitely stay here again! Near the city center but “hidden” apartment above a local business (Dominos). Great balcony with amazing views! The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. Also appreciated the washer/dryer. When you enter the unit, go up steps and the kitchen is ahead and the living room to your right. Both the bedroom and living room open to the same large balcony. Maybe pack a sound machine for street noise. You’ll have a designated parking spot behind the building labeled “Mountain Modern” Benjamin Moore Paints. We unloaded in the front and then parked. Demelza was great at communicating and even left us gourmet chocolate and sparkling water upon our arrival. Some restaurants we enjoyed in Canmore were 4296 (a splurge!), Alita’s, Rocket Pie Pizza (mushroom pizza and tiramisu…so good), Finchy’s Bar + Grill CanGolf (great burger/fries, park in back). Ate at Block Kitchen + Bar in Banff (Korean fried chicken and delicious French onion soup). Best t-shirts are at Big Bear Trading Company in Canmore or Banff. We shopped at Safeway Canmore for packing our lunches. We packed a soft side cooler and ice packs for our daily lunches. It helped having a park pass ahead (can enter in right lanes without a wait). If you want to see Moraine Lake, schedule ahead! We loved the Sunshine Meadows hike that starts at the Sunshine Village gondola (then chairlift). We hope to stay here again!

Canmore Mountain view Stay
Stayed in Canmore for 5 nights to visit Banff and the area. Pros:The place was fantastic as far as location, view, space and amenities. We didn’t cook any meals but it was equipped with everything anyone would need to do so. Was nice to use the leashes/dryer as needed. We could walk anywhere from the place. The town had a ton of very good places to eat. Wi-Fi worked great. The patio was very spacious and had a gorgeous view of the mountains and was a nice place to unwind for the evening. Cons: A couple of minor issues that did not take away from trip but worth to mention. The lock on the door was very tricky to lock from the inside. Bed was a bit sunken in the middle and could stand to be replaced. The apt is located above a Dominoes Pizza and several nights we heard people below early into the morning being very loud. We just shut the window. Overall- beautiful place and lots of room for us to unwind and relax! Would stay again.
