Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in der Wohnung von Piercarlo verbracht. Das große Schlafzimmer ist mit antiken Möbeln im italienischen Stil eingerichtet und hat noch einen kleinen Abstellraum. Die Wohnküche ist sehr groß und relativ gut ausgestattet. Es war alles sehr sauber. Schön war auch die überdachte Terrasse und der Freisitz im Garten. Leider gibt es den super Ausblick in die weite Landschaft mit Weinbergen nicht mehr, da mittlerweile alles mit Bäumen und Büschen zugewachsen ist. Die Lage ist trotzdem idyllisch und sehr ruhig, allerdings auch total abgelegen, aber ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Radtouren in die Weinberge und Umgebung. In dem kleinen Ort gibt es eine Osteria, die allerdings geschlossen hatte, als wir dort essen wollten. Zum Einkaufen sind wir nach Alba (20min) gefahren, dort gibt es mehrere Supermärkte und eine sehr schöne Altstadt.

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit herrlicher Aussicht

Die Ferienwohnung liegt mitten in den Hügeln und Weinbergen des Piemont. Vom Garten der Wohnung (mit 2 Tischen und Sonnenliegen ausgestattet) hat man eine wunderschöne Aussicht ins Tal und über die Hügel - ideal für einen entspannten Urlaub. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht (im Garten ist auch ein Grill)...

Beautiful and serene location

We could not have wished for a better stay than in Casa Piementose. The wonderful and serene setting, surrounded by vineyards and hazelnut trees, and overlooking the hills and far mountains, was just what we needed for focusing on work while also enjoying time relaxing. The house itself is comfortable and spacious, and there is a nice garden with a variety of fruit trees (we missed the cherries!!!) and plants such as lavender and rosemary. Our children very much enjoyed playing in the garden and there is a very nice covered terrace with a wood fired barbecue. The location is approximately 20 minutes away by car from the historic centre of Alba, Barbaresco, Neive and Treiso. If you are a meat lover, visit the superb agrimacelleria Da Barnet in nearby Cossano Belbo. For wine, there are many options, but we particularly appreciated the Cantina Terrabianca. For hazelnuts, we highly recommend Il Nocciolaio (Fratelli Bianco). Last but not least, the owner was very welcoming, always available when we needed and discreet. Grazie mille, Piercarlo ! Tolle Unterkunft um “auszusteigen”

Ganz tolles Objekt mit Wahnsinns Lage um abzuschalten und das einfache Leben in den Weinbergen zu genießen! In der Nähe isst man bei Piercarlo und Graziella fantastische italienische Küche! Die Spaziergänge durch die Weinberge sind ein Traum!

Prachtig uitzicht

Heel mooie vakantielocatie om te genieten van de rust en de omgeving. Het enige minpuntje is de keuken uitrusting :het huis zou voor 6 personen zijn maar koken voor 6 is wel heel krap ( weinig borden, bestek en glazen) Maar voor de rest is alles piekfijn in orde. Een aanrader!

Super séjour dans une magnifique région. La vue le matin en se levant suffisait à me mettre de bonne humeur. Calme et tranquillité, voilà comment je peux résumer cette location. Le propriétaire, Piercarlo est très disponible tout en étant très discret. Je recommande vivement cette location.

Rustig verblijf in het midden van de wijngaarden

Casa Piemontese ligt midden de wijnvelden net buiten de dorpskern van San Donato (Mango). De wegaanduiding naar het huis is niet erg accuraat en wij hadden de nodige moeite om met behulp van onze Tomtom de locatie te vinden. Google Maps via de smartphone kon ons probleem wel oplossen. Een eenvoudige wegwijzer aan de bijna onvindbare afslag zou volstaan. De eigenaar Percarlo is bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam, maar spreekt alleen Italiaans, zodat het voor ons wat behelpen was om de conversatie gaande te houden. Maar Pïercarlo houdt zich liefst op de achtergrond en je merkt haast niet dat hij de bovenste verdieping van het huis betrekt. Twee zeer ruime kamers en een badkamer zijn aangenaam koel en wij hebben de aanwezige airco niet hoeven gebruiken ondanks buitentemperaturen van rondde 30°. Een overdekt terras, een zonnetentje met ligzetels, bieden een magnifiek zicht op de vallei. De afgelegen ligging maakt wel dat je altijd even onderweg bent om proviand in te slaan. Voor koffieliefhebbers bij het ontbijt zou een grotere koffiezet wel mogen. Wie een eigen elektrische koffiezet meeneemt, moet ook filterzakjes voorzien, want die vind je niet in de regio. Toch een geweldige plaats om terug te keren. Deze woning is geschikt voor een gezin met jonge kinderen: de alaapkamer heeft naast een dubbelbed ook stapelbedden en een extra bed is opgeslagen in de bergruimte. Ouders moeten dan wel samen met de kinderen slapen. In San Donato en Mango vonden wij niet veel meer te beleven dan te genieten van de natuur en de prachtige vergezichten, in de buurt zijn de Vecchio Borgo van Neive en Barbaresco zeker het bezoeken waard. Wie de tocht naar Neive onderneemt, raden we het iets duurdere maar zeer lekkere La Luna Nel Pozzo aan om te eten en El Nido della Cincialeggria om wijnen en streekproducten te ontdekken, aan.

La maison de M. Piercarlo est vraiment très très confortable et agréable. Il ne manque rien tout est pensé et organisé pour que les gens se sentent chez eux. La situation de la propriété est simplement paradisiaque ! La beauté le calme juste troublé par le chant des cigales ! Extraordinaire ! Le propriétaire est très acceillant et tres discret on a l impression d être seul. Je recommande vivement cette location qui nous a enchanté! !!
