Beautiful villa with stunning views

The villa is really beautiful and more than lives up to the photos; we had a lovely week there. The view is stunning with beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed the local area and especially the local marina. There are small local cafes and shops near the villa and more restaurants and a supermarket in the local marina 10 minutes away from the villa. It is very reasonable to eat out in Madeira and there are lots of fresh fish on the menu. Wine and cocktails are also very reasonable. There is a lot to do in the area; walking, mountain biking, sailing, sight seeing and much more. We would highly recommend to hire a car though. It was our first visit to Madeira, but I am sure it will not be our last. We would love to revisit Madeira and especially this villa. Miguel was a great host; very welcoming and helpful. He responded quickly to all our enquiries and he was very good with recommendations and contacts. Thanks for a great stay Miguel

Very good Experience

Everything was nearly perfect. The only thing missing: the house has no heating, but the owner provided an electric oven. Owner is very motivated and gives his ful support.

Stunning, spacious, clean villa with one of the best views in the world!

We had a fantastic 2 weeks in this villa - we couldn't fault it. The terrace and pool are fantastic, the view was just breathtaking. A perfect place to stay on beautiful island. A car is an absolute must. There are cafes, bars and restaurant close by (in car) and a very well stocked supermarket if you should need it. Our only issue was the fact that a villa was in the process of being built next door, so the noise from 8.30am - 6pm was very loud - we went out and returned by 5.30pm most days to avoid this (we understand that this is beyond the control of the owner but it was really disappointing when we had paid so much money to stay here!) Apart from that though - a beautiful villa.

Beautiful view

The house was amazing and we all felt very good. The view was beautiful especiallly at night! The only things we have unfortunately to complain is that upstairs was no receiving for WiFi . Also could have the kitchen more bowls (for exampel salad) and cutlery. We all felt very welcome, thank you for that.

Holiday Flat with beautiful view

We stayed at this Holiday flat for 14 days and had a good time. Good starting point for hiking. The interieur was high class, the Pool outside nice. A friendly renter showed us the flat. Some things may probably changed for the futur (f.e.: television in german, a radio or cd player, patio furniture for seating at the pool area, more heating in colder seasons). Thanks for everything

What makes this property unique

The southwestern coast of Madeira is ideal for all those, looking for unspoilt nature and part of the island with the warmest climate, far away from the usual tourism centres of Funchal.In the winter season it offers still very moderate temperatures so that you can even swim in the atlantic nearby. You reach the sea by an artificial sandy beach, built in 2006 with imported sand from Marocco. Beside the beach you find the Marina with some bars and restaurants and elegant yachts. From here you can start several excursions by boat : big game fishing or whale and dolphin watching.
An old sugar cane factory is working once a year ( march/april)but open throughout the whole year :you can taste the products made in the factory.
For all those who like to walk here is the ideal place to start : the national park Rabaçal - Worlds nature heritage ( UNESCO) - is perfect for some Levada walks ( 25 fontes / Risco waterfall).Here you find Madeiras "Laurissilva" - Laurel forests and enjoy the unspoilt Madeira, as it was at the time it was discovered.....
