We had a family get together here over Waitangi weekend and the accommodation is perfect for a large group. Well set up both inside and out. The children loved the horses just over the fence. Great location and we’d love to come back sometime.
We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer.
We are already planning our next stay.
Great service with no fuss, very clean and tidy and a perfect place to stay with big group gatherings.
Awesome lawn game activities with kids and a very well equipped kitchen.
Rental process was smooth and instructions were clear. Place was as advertised and communication was timely! An overall great experience at Omarama Station!
This accommodation was ideal for our group of 13 golfers and had everything we needed. Annabelle was great to deal with and the boys enjoyed their stay. We had the misfortune of a first day of rain but the rooms were warm and dry.
This is a wonderful place to stay for a large group. It has everything you need for a fun group holiday - well equipped property. It does have 3 showers (not the 2 advertised) and 5 toilets (which is more than advertised) and does have 2 fridge freezers in the kitchen and a chest freezer as well. Bunk beds a very high without a barrier - would not recommend for small children (although there is space to easily pop a mattress on the floor.) Close proximity to Sailor's Cutting for boating and to the Ocean to Alps cycle way. Excellent alternative to camping and great value for money.
The Shearer’s accommodation was perfect for our group of 20 high school rowers. The place was very clean, plenty of toilets & showers & kitchen had everything we needed. Becky, the manager was very friendly & helpfully answered all my questions prior to arrival. The location was perfect, just a minute or two into Omarama for supplies and only 20 minutes from Lake Ruataniwha.
Another fabulous stay at the Shearers Quarters. Great place to be with a group. Nice and clean. Becky was really helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back.
