Perfect little get away!

This place is appropriately named! Amazing Grace is an understatement. Mike and Wanda are gracious hosts. The boat house is antique, awesomely decorated and immaculate. The lake is full of fish, and very uninhabited so it is peaceful also. Thanks Mike and Wanda, we so enjoyed our stay! John and Laurie

Being at one with the lake.

Very quaint and unique! Breathless views from this boathouse with incredible morning sunrises. Very clean with a modern and comfortable bed. Good shower. Perfect for a romantic and memorable experience.

Charming boathouse

The grounds are beautiful. The hospitality is amazing. The lake is so peaceful. We’ve stayed here twice and look forward to coming back. So much to do: hiking, kayaking, bike trails. I highly recommend staying here!!

No regrets! Fabulous

Stayed with my parents and my daughter and her friend. The 12yr old girls loved hanging out in the gazebo octagon house and taking out the paddle board to the floating dock and floating trampoline. My parents enjoyed the tranquility and wildlife of the location. How can you beat the proximity to the beautiful quiet lake! I enjoyed that everyone was happy. I’m also a sucker for mid-century and this place had it all!!! Mike and Wanda were awesome, the best hosts you could ask for, sweet sweet people who genuinely care about your experience. Perfect Up North Get Away

Mike and Wanda made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The retro property was spotless and pictured accurately. They live on the same property so checked in to make sure we had everything we needed several times during our stay- but did not interfere in any way. They were available to answer questions or provide a bike route or restaurant recommendation. There is another rental cabin on the property- but they did not interfere with our stay in any way. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the ‘toys” such as canoe, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, row boat and available motor. We also enjoyed the many paved bike routes near by. We thoroughly enjoyed the wildlife: eagles, loons, otters and deer. We can’t recommend this property enough and look forward to returning in the future. Thanks for making our vacation GREAT!!!!!!

We purchased this property in the fall of 2019 and began a four year renovation! We have completely cleaned from ceiling to floors and installed new flooring, window treatments, doors etc. in the boathouse and the two bedroom house that is also listed on Vrbo ! New Beds sofas and recliners! Thanks for checking us out!

Why they chose this property

Fantastic Snowmobile trails to Boulder Junction, Sayner St. Germain, Eagle River , Minocqua! Great fishing, and Ice fishing! nature watching! Loons, Eagles, Trumpeter swans, deer, very common to see! Sorry pics do not do any of our properties justice.
We are working on this and hope to have some changes soon!

Words and pics can’t describe the natural and nostalgic beauty! Very unique nostalgic lake retreat, with some of the best fishing in the Northwoods! More Pics coming soon! Over 1000 acres of water ( Ballard chain) and less than 20% occupied. Everything else is state forest! Deer, Eagles, Loons, Spotted regularly! Great fishing adventures! All Northern Wisconsin species including Musky!
