The house was comfortable and in a great location. The beds were comfortable. The owners were very attentive and helpful. The outdoor umbrella was a little tired. Also something that was out of the control of the owners, was a sewer smell that lingered likely from one of the neighbors houses. Nevertheless we had a great time.
We enjoyed the beautiful views from the balcony and interesting architecture of this house. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. Bathrooms also clean. The main bathroom has two entrances, one from a bedroom and one from the laundry which made privacy a bit challenging but we just locked one of the doors. Driveway was steep as we were warned but we managed ok in an SUV. 2WD hatchback was a bit more challenging but we coped. Overall a lovely stay
We had the most wonderful stay here! Incredible view and was a great location just out of Queenstown - easy walk to town. The apartment had everything we needed, the fireplace and warm heating made it super comfortable. Just a great set up and perfect for two families to stay side-by-side. Access down to the entrance door is steep but this was noted. Worked for us really well. Kitchen was well equipped, plenty of space for all and a great viewing deck topped it off! Thanks so much, was wonderful! Communication was good and helpful when we extended our stay.
This is a quirky property - built like a boat with bedrooms below and a balcony poking out over the lake like the bow of a ship. The views are spectacular and the property is very convenient to the city - just a short walk along the lake path.
We had a nice stay however there were a few things that could be improved with a bit of planning and some notes for renting. The oven and cook top for example. Not easy to use and no guide, even online. As a result our simple meals took a long time and were quite a bit of effort. It would have been good to have instructions on the parking well, given our late night arrival. The advanced parking was a bit of a shock. Also the lack of drain pipes on the rooftop balcony result in a lot of noise for both of the master bedrooms. This woke us all up and could be rectified with a little investment. However overall we loved the garden, views and architecture and appreciated the stay.

We loved the layout of the open plan living area and the views. The property is just the right distance from Queenstown to enjoy the area without being crowded but near enough to town to walk there. We will definitely be back!

Great views
View from balcony was amazing, unfortunately the accommodation was a bit shabby, steep driveway and stair access. Difficult to get down to the access the walking pathtrack.
Just the place we needed for our adult family trip to Queenstown. The home was spacious and comfortable for the 6 of us while being a short distance from town. The house had everything we needed for the weekend and the views and sunsets are simply stunning. Would definitely come back.
Loved every minute of our stay in this beautiful house with lots of character. There is a path right in front of the house leading into town- the most incredible walk along the river. It had everything we needed and was very warm. Driveway is incredibly steep.

Hi, I have live in Queenstown for 20years an have enjoyed the wonderful beauty and adventure Queenstown has to offer. I manage this property for my Dad who lives out of town.
Why they chose this property
We were drawn to this property for it unique location and design.
What makes this property unique
It is close enough to town but still far enough away. The unit feels like your hidden paradise and from certain areas of the unit you can feel like you are floating on the lake.
