The village is delightful, although this property is on an estate not part of the historical centre.
The rooms are very spacious, the living room was comfortable and the bathroom was good.
We had everything we needed for our week’s stay.
We very fortunate with sunny warm weather the whole week, so we were disappointed that the garden had not been tended - long grass, dead pots and weeds everywhere. Garden chairs just stashed away in a corner.
There was an issue with the electric gates which are essential as it is the only way in or out of the property. In the end we were forced to leave them open which didn’t feel very safe.
The house is spacious and very well kept. Bathroom and kitchen are excellent. The property is ideally located when traveling with a dog. Just next to open fields and very close to a forest. Also, it is right in the middle of several interesting sites/towns/castles, but the village itself hardly visited by (foreign) tourists, even though it has the most striking silhouette of all the villages around. Also some good restaurants within a few kilometers in all directions. We loved it.
