Great stay

Great stay, when we got there the place was very clean. However some of the items in the games room pictures were missing such as the ping pong table.

Nice house, though with mishap

Driving from Washington, we were called by the owner around noon on day of check-in just as we were heading into the mountains that there had been an emergency plumbing incident and wouldn’t be able to stay at the house. We were offered an alternative house of similar value, though 20 min further from Big White and not furnished as well, and we did decide to accept because we had very little options at that point. The alternative house was larger and did have gorgeous views of Lake Okanagan. The kitchen was lacking a few essentials but otherwise it was a nice stay. The owner was responsive and helpful and apologetic about the whole situation. She did suggest some kind of discount might be possible considering the whole situation, but that never materialized.

Play&Stay: Mountain & Lake Views/Theatre

This house has SO much potential but..-Nowhere on this ad does it state there is a tenant on the property. The suite is separate but they did have a dog which barked a lot the first half of the trip.-a lot of the decor did not match the listing photos. The house is cheaply furnished and feels cold. The beds other than the king were very uncomfortable. -the pool cues were broken, the basketball hoop was broken and not usable. The downstairs shower doesn't drain. There were scuff marks and stains all over the house. Dead light bulbs, missing remotes or batteries, couldn't use the apps to stream movies on the downstairs theatre TV due to poor Internet connection.-comminication was almost non-existent with the host until a week or so prior.Overall, this VRBO was a let down and it's unfortunate because it's a beautiful house and has a stunning view but it's not being properly taken care of and for the price you pay it wasn't worth it.
