Fabulous property with a fabulous group of friends. Accomodations were great, kitchen was well-supplied (although a couple of large serving spoons would be a nice addition), and the hot-tub was lovely after a day or snowshoeing or skiing.
The property was beautiful and as described and the lake was amazing to wake up to every morning! The hosts were great and responded to all of our questions and messages. The area is quiet and the provided paddle board and kayak were a great thing to have around. I would recommend and stay here again in the future!
Had a few of the girls out for a wonderful Bachelorette weekend on the lake. Beautiful property, hot tub was great, kayak/paddle boarding was a nice touch. It is a little far from everything else however so it’s ideal to rent a car as transportation can be tricky.
The house was beautiful and well set up. Awesome view over hydraulic lake and just 25 minutes to big white. Hottub was great of course! We loved everything. Hopefully stay here again soon!
Overall, we had a great experience at this cabin. The listing was 100% accurate and we couldn’t have been happier with the property. The lake was absolutely beautiful and quiet as we saw plenty of wildlife while out on our boats. The sleeping accommodations were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Thanks for a great experience and we look forward to coming back in the future.
Awesome cabin on a frozen lake. Very peaceful and 30-40 min drive to the lifts. House included ice fishing gear and snowshoes to explore the area. Thank you for the hospitality!
Great house, spacious and clean. Sadly no lawn or grassy area on beach and around the house. BBQ was filthy and we cleaned it. Beach toys and bikes and water sport items were provided. Absolute quiet, at least until Friday night. Nice kitchen, sugar, oil and condiments provided. We really enjoyed our four days there.
Bachelorette stay – great time with friends, but disappointing stay overall
We stayed at this property for my bachelorette weekend. While we had a great time together, the cabin experience wasn’t what we expected. Before arrival, the host informed me there might be some landscaping, which I appreciated, but wasn’t prepared for the level of construction. We were in Cabin 1, surrounded by workers sawing, excavating, and moving materials all weekend. I asked if it would continue and was told I’d get a follow-up, but never did. The work continued the whole time we even sent videos showing how close and disruptive it was. The noise and lack of privacy made it hard to enjoy the outdoor space. Some workers repeatedly chatted with us, which felt intrusive. One friend was approached by someone who questioned our group size and vehicle count it was unnecessary. The listing described the cabin as “waterfront,” but it wasn’t. Trailers were parked on the beach by workers, and no one felt comfortable hanging out there. Inside, the cabin was spotless definitely 5 stars but the surrounding area was not. A scrap yard was right beside us where excavation took place. The coffee maker was broken, but the host replaced it quickly. She apologized and offered a future stay; I asked for a late checkout instead, but was declined. The host was polite, but Cabin 1 isn’t ready for guests until construction is complete and the listing reflects the reality.

Nice spot but not maintained
Never recieved instructions on how to find the place prior to arriving and it's not easy to locate. Only after we arrived, we recieved the instructions. The arrow on the map is not accurate so had to locate on satellite and was still unsure.
Within 10 minutes of arriving, my 3 year old pulled a 70lbs door off the hinges and it almost fell on him but was caught up by a dresser thankfully avoiding injury. It was clear this had happened before as the screw holes were stripped and did not secure once we put back on. We had some larger ones in our car and secured temporarily.
Other issues of non maintenance included:
Drains not draining.
Lights not turning on.
Too many chemicals in hot tub burning eyes if jets turned on.
Bird poop all over hot tub cover and deck surfaces.
Overall it's a nice spot and location but could tell that the pictures were meant to mislead the fact of the property being beside the lodge that had junk all over the property.
Nice spot but would not return.
Can't recommend this place enough. We hosted 10 friends on a weekend retreat and the place was more than we expected. The views from the deck (and inside the place) are breathtaking. The beds were super comfy and it included everything we needed to create an incredible experience for our guests at the men's retreat we hosted. Our host was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions before (and during) our stay. We will be back again!
