Tranquil getaway

The traditional style Japanese house was very clean and located in a peaceful area of Lake Kawaguchi with a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. My entire family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host greeted us with welcoming tea and shared helpful information about both the house and the surrounding area. The provided pajamas were comfy and perfect slipped into after enjoying the onsen. We truly appreciated the hospitality and hope to return it one day.

I highly recommend this home, I would not stay anywhere else if I am able to travel to this area again. This home and the hosts were amazing. When we arrived at the home, the hosts were there to show us around the home, explaining the different rooms and explained the background of the home and its furnishings. It is the most beautiful home, full of unique furniture and furnishings, with plenty of windows to see the Lake. The bedrooms were perfect - plenty of room and very comfortable beds. We were able to use the spa and onsen next door, which was wonderful. Thank you to the hosts for such a perfect stay.
