Rose End Escape. Home comfort in the central Wairarapa country side

This peaceful abode is set amongst beautiful gardens and luscious farming plains, making for the perfect spot for a break away from the city. Only a hop, skip and a jump you are a short 5 minute drive from shopping till you drop in Greytown and wandering the beautiful daffodil fields of Carterton. If nature is more your thing within a few minutes drive you could find yourself trekking the picturesque tracks of the Waiohine Gorge or visiting the vineyards of Martinborough.
The Space
This beautiful farm house offers you everything you need for the perfect holiday experience. take in the fresh country air in the beautiful gardens. This space comfortably sleeps a family, is perfect for couples or friends trip away, and can take up to eight guests.
The open-living space with large windows and French doors provides a warm stay and great indoor and outdoor flow. The space includes a Master bedroom, with a beautiful large walk-in wardrobe and ensuite along with two bedrooms which overlook the Tararua Ranges, each with a Queen bed. A fully equipped kitchen is available; including an oven, stove top, fridge, microwave and much more. The comfortable lounge offers a tv connected to freeview. There is wireless internet access, a dinning table, laundry, electric fireplace and an additional bathroom. The large open deck provides the perfect place to entertain or relax while overlooking the beautiful gardens.
If you require additional beds, please enquire. We also offer accommodation if you are traveling with large animals and require land for a short stay.
Please note - There is a small additional charge if you require extra beds or paddock space during your stay. The house also sits in the middle of a working farm, so occasionally you may hear animals and machinery in operation.

The farm has its own driveway and parking available, with both three steps or a ramp leading into the home. The house is set up for self checkin with a lock box to access keys.

Rose End Escape was fabulous! It provided 3 queen bedrooms, ensuite and bathroom, lovely spacious lounge, full kitchen with everything we needed, great outdoor seating- all on a quiet rural road in the Wairarapa. We loved it. Its a very comfortable older style home. Beautiful roses in the garden. We enjoyed having coffee on the verandah - theres a great sun sail providing shade, and we moved the chairs to follow the sun.

The kitchen was perfectly and thoughtfully equipped, including those little things you take for granted having in your kitchen like oil and vinegar etc, that you don’t realise you need when packing! (I didn’t use them, but did really appreciate that they were there).The roses around the property are beautiful, and I made sure to stop and smell the roses at every opportunity.
