About this property

Kakariki Haven, Omokoroa

Self-contained private flat with private outlook. Looks out on the garden, and down on to the Omokoroa Golf Course. Suitable for a couple or a single; has a lounge/kitchenette, and double bedroom with ensuite. Continental breakfast of cereal, fruit and yoghurt.

Includes internet (unlimited). Good cellphone coverage.

A 2-minute drive to the Omokoroa village. Fish from the jetty, swim and kayak in the harbour. Local cafes, plus excellent evening dining at the Omokoroa Boat Club. The Omokoroa Golf Club is easy walking distance. Hot pools are a little further.

Walkways are a feature of the Omokoroa Peninsula, meandering through the many reserves and along the harbour side. Excellent for walking or bike riding.

More challenging walks are easy driving distance - info provided. Omokoroa is 40 minutes from Waihi and the access to the Hauraki Rail Trail.

Omokoroa is a 10 min drive into Bethlehem.

We really enjoyed our stopover at the Kakarika Haven in Omokoroa. Bruce and Sandra are lovely, fun people and generous hosts. The accommodation is comfortable, well equipped, very clean and in a lovely quiet location. Would definitely return if in the area.

This was a lovely time away from home. Sandra and Bruce are very keen gardeners and their property is full of beautiful fruit and native trees. Three lovely chickens to say hello to. Bruce and Sandra themselves are friendly and interesting people.Omokoroa is gorgeous with it's natural beauty carefully maintained despite recent housing growth.Lots of well maintained walkways and beautiful views. The photos don’t do this place justice. It’s a very comfortable and convenient bed-sit flat close to amenities and with everything you might need. Comfy bed, walk in shower, fully furnished kitchen with air fryer and a great sofa. Gets the morning sun, shady setting for the afternoon. Hosts very helpful people. I recommend this stay to everyone.
