The view was amazing, the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook in the home. It was in a great location for all our activities on Rotorua
Fantastic lake house. We really enjoyed our stay. The host had good communication. The location was very central and had all the amenities needed. Neat and clean. Lots of space and an amazing view from the deck over the beautiful lake. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Thank you.
The house had a beautiful view and was well maintained. I would say that there was an overpowering musty odor. Maybe we were the first guests in a while? I grew up going to lake cottages in the summer so am used to slightly musty smells but this was a little extreme. Otherwise it was a lovely spot.
Perfect accommodation for a family with easy access to everything and the house and surrounds are lovely. Beautiful outlook straight on to the lake, and the kayaks for an early morning paddle were a bonus! Would have loved to stay longer and would book again.
Spacious house directly at the lake! Nice garden and perfect view! The bathrooms are well renovated.
Perfect for resting and enjoying the stay in Rotorua!

Pleased you enjoyed your stay in Rotorua.
We stayed for three nights and it didn't stop raining! But the outdoor deck right on to the lake would be stunning in nice weather. Some areas of the house have been renovated and the photos of the property are accurate. Spacious enough for a large family. Plenty of parking. Good location near the gondola/zorb etc.

Thank you for your review. Most unfortunate that it rained for the duration of your stay because, as you mention, the deck area, with it's lake views, is a lovely place to sit and eat etc when the sun's out.
Great location with direct access to lake with lovely views and outdoor living. Kayaks great to have. Very close to town. Beds very comfy. Kitchen and bathrooms great. Could do with fans in summer. Older than appears in photos.
We enjoyed staying at your property. What a wonderful spot on the lake. Debra was great and very accommodating when needed. I highly recommend this property and Rotorua, too! Be careful of the beautiful bushes next to the driveway. Don’t drive too close to them.

Great location.
Great location.
Excellent outdoor and living spaces.
Lovely comfortable beds.
Bathrooms in desperate need of an upgrade, they are literally falling to pieces. Shower over the bath in the main bathroom fell of the wall on our first night.

Thank you for your great feedback on the location, outdoor and living spaces and bed comfort at Pourakau Bay Holiday Bach. The incident with the shower was most unfortunate and has been addressed. Both bathrooms are in full working order. Thank you again for your feedback.
