Ahu Ahu Beach Villas Oraukawa Lodge

Four original award winning Beach Villas have now been complimented by our latest award winning addition ‘Oraukawa Lodge’. Oraukawa Lodge is a multi function paladian styled building ideal for a weekend escape, small conference / function / wedding or gathering with family or friends. The perfect gathering spot when booking out all of the Villas.

Our desire was to create a structure with as little visual impact as possible. We achieved this by digging it into the side of the hill and landscaping the roof. Eight sets of cedar bifold doors open between columns to take the indoor space outdoors onto a landscaped patio complete with a ‘Rock Fall’ and intimate sea views.
Special conditions:
The accommodation tariff on this site is for a maximum of four guests
only. If Oraukawa Lodge is to be used as a gathering place for family
and friends or a function venue, there are additional costs. Please
discuss your plans with us prior to booking. Breakfast is available on
request. Please order when booking so provisions can be in the Lodge
prior to your arrival.

Little slice of paradise

We enjoyed our stay so much that we have discussed selling up and relocating! Beautiful location and accommodation, close enough to to explore other attractions in the region. And we really appreciated that it was pet friendly.

Ahuahu villas lodge on Oakura beach

Unique holiday home in beautiful location and fabulous views. We enjoyed learning about the lodge build and meeting the owner. We were a small family on a short stay but would also suit a small gathering or event with the large communal space.

The accommodation is fantastic.

The accommodation is fantastic. Very spacious, spotlessly clean, all the comforts of home. Beautiful views with an easy stroll down to the beach.
