The Space:
River Haven Tiny House by Tiny Away is a charming retreat in Noojee, renowned for its historic Trestle Bridge. This iconic bridge offers visitors stunning views of the surrounding countryside and is a popular destination for photography enthusiasts and history buffs alike.

If you're feeling adventurous, make sure to swing by Neerim South to pick up some local produce. While you're there, don't miss the chance to explore Noojee Trestle Bridge, Bunyip State Park, Toorongo Falls, and Mount Baw Baw. There's plenty to see and do in Noojee!

A snug 139-square-foot tiny home is nestled on a flat grass area, offering convenient parking. Positioned in front of an Oregon plantation, with a river flowing behind, the serene surroundings provide a picturesque backdrop for your stay.

It has easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home,"River Oasis," available with 24 hours' notice, ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.

Strictly No Late Check-Outs

Due to recent weather, there may be some mud along the path to the tiny house. To help keep the space clean and comfortable for all guests, we kindly ask that you remove your shoes before entering the tiny house.

While the houses are spaced out and offer a peaceful rural experience, please note that during peak seasons and long holidays, there may be other guests camping on-site, and you may see or hear others in the area.

This property is best suited for guests who appreciate nature, simplicity, and a rustic lifestyle. If you are seeking complete seclusion, hotel-like amenities, or luxury standards, this may not be the right fit. We recommend our space for those who wish to disconnect, enjoy the outdoors, and experience life in the countryside.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and its surroundings, except for the host's private residence.

The Neighborhood:
River Haven Tiny House by Tiny Away sits in the charming timber town of Noojee, near Neerim South, and Drouin just a short drive down the road. Warragul is about 41 minutes away, and Melbourne is just an hour's drive from the property.

What’s more, we’re close to Mount Baw Baw, a popular spot for skiing, snowboarding, and hiking. Visit Civic Park in Warragul, the beautiful Toorongo Falls, the rugged Bunyip State Park, and the historic Noojee Trestle Bridge over the Latrobe River.

Getting Around:
By car:

- 1 hr drive from Melbourne
- 41 mins from the town, Drouin
- 41 mins from the town, Warragul
- 54 mins from the village, Mount Baw Baw. All reachable by 2WD.

By public transport: From Melbourne > Flinders station to Traralgon line off Warragul station. > Take a bus from Alfred St no.89 to Noojee.

Other Things to Note:
Strictly No Late Check-Outs

- Wood BBQ Grill is available
- Expect truck noise on the property
- Strictly No Pets Allowed inside or outside
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking allowed inside, except in designated areas
- Telstra has a good signal while the rest have no signals
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property.  
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban period
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
