Nestled in the Middle of the Southern Alps on a Junction halfway between Christchurch and Nelson and the entrance to the Westcoast sits the little Town of Springs Junction.
It is 2.5 hours to either Christchurch or Nelson and 35 minutes to Reefton.
It is a quiet wee village consisting of a garage, a cafe and a few houses.
The cottage is on State highway 65 which is the road to Murchison but only 500 metres from the Cafe.
The quiet life is what it has to offer plus its so handy to Victoria Forest Park you can see the mountains and bush from the cottage windows.

Lovely Stay

My friend and I loved number 20. In a great location, only 10 minutes drive from the hot springs (which are also lovely to stay at but the accommodation there is pricey). The house had everything we needed and the owner was lovely to deal with. Super comfortable bed, great sleep!! Hope to visit again.

Nice getaway!

Great wee spot, very quiet and clean, beds were very cosy, had everything we needed for a getaway. Close to the Maruia springs which were amazing and will definetly be back for those!

Perfect for what we needed. Great location, only negative was the noise from the traffic all night (possibly heavier than usual due to the detour in place). Really appreciated the heater being left on for us as it was a very chilly night!

We enjoyed the area lots of beautiful walks and the hot pools.

We enjoyed the area lots of beautiful walks and the hot pools. Accommodation was clean, well looked after and had everything we needed. Our daughter enjoyed the pet sheep. Minor negative was only that the hot water was cold as tank was turned off but it warmed up in 2 hours once we'd realised. We would stay again in future. Thanks Kathleen.

Gosh sorry about that. It is always supposed to be on. My Husband concluded that the switch had been bumped when someone had put the vacume cleaner away. He has now taped in on! Thanks for telling us
