About this property

Our newly remodeled Suite is the ground floor of our split level home with a private entrance through a peaceful back yard. (It is not the entire house.) Includes a private patio.

New Paint! New Carpet! New kitchenette floor. New Tiled bathroom with Marble double sink, tub/shower & toilet. Includes towels, makeup towel, soap, and shampoo.
Our comfortable, spacious living room includes a pull out couch, TV & DVD's, books, board games, dining table with four chairs. Kitchenette has a large refrigerator, microwave, dishes, towels, and coffee maker, and an eating bar with 2 stools. Deluxe bedroom has a queen size bed, night stands, 50-inch smart TV and WiFi. This is a lower level private Guest Suite on 1/2 acre.

The space

The living room has a:
1) Double pull out couch
Pillows, sheets, and blankets are provided.

Guest access
Lock-box access. Private sliding glass door entrance to the Guest Suite is through the back yard. It has a spacious private guest patio and includes a table with 4 chairs and charcoal grill in our secluded 1/2 acre. (Grill and outdoor furniture is not available in the winter.) An ample sized lower deck allows for great social time in and out of the hot tub. Tub is open from Memorial Day weekend in the Spring through Labor Day in the fall. (On rare occasions, hot tub may be closed due to inclement weather, e.g. (1) when temperatures plummet to 25 degrees Fahrenheit; (2) excessive snowfall and accumulation; (3) dangerous wind gusts. Upper deck is reserved for the host family.

Although there is a trampoline on the property, due to insurance restrictions, it is not available for use by guest of Tall Pines Lodge. (So sorry!)

For the safety of all our guests, we have exterior security lights and cameras located on the north, south, east and west sides of our property.

creepy and weird

The Host made sure our stay was most uncomfortable from not allowing heat in home, shutting down Hot tub, walking around house and windows in the dark, reminding us of the rules constantly banging around the house. It was just uncomfortable, a quite weekend away to catch up on a project turned just weird.

Great place

Stayed here for two nights. The space was cozy and the hot tub was awesome. I do wish they didn’t have an RV in the driveway as the space was a bit tight with luggage. Also I would have loved a walkway allll the way to the back entrance to avoid soggy grass when it’s rainy. Overall though it was a great stay!!

Chad grew up in California and began a photography career in 1974. He is married to the lovely Tina who grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Together they own NW Music (which is one of the three largest music stores in the Pacific Northwest); Northwest Academy of Music in Coeur d' Alene along with NW Photo & Video. They love working with children. Chad has a degree in Early Childhood Education and psychology. Their friends call both of them: "kid magnets!"

Why they chose this property

Tina and I chose this house because of the quiet and friendly neighbors that surround us. We love the beautiful tall trees and having half an acre to enjoy. We came from a mountain property with six farming acres and majestic trees by the lake but we wanted something closer to our Music store where we could walk or bike to in the morning. (I prefer biking!)

What makes this property unique

Idaho Tall Pines Lodge has proven to be one of the most popular spots for individuals and families who are attending Silverwood Theme Park. (It's only 20 minutes away!) Though we are only 15 minutes walking distance from Mc Donald's, Pizza Hut or Taco Bell, our Lodge is peaceful, quiet and restful.
