This is a great litlle place with everything you need to enjoy yourself, whether its chilling and enjoying the view or heading into the city to explore.
Definitely recommend.
The house is wonderfully bright and cozy, right on the bay and super close to Seatoun shops and the bus to all the places you need to go. We stayed in winter and the house was warm and inviting, and a great place to come back to from running around Windy Welly…
The house has all amenities we needed and the host was super responsive. Would very much recommend anyone to book this and stay here. You won’t regret staying in this house and in Seatoun!
The premises were immaculately clean and tidy. The location was exceptional with water just a short stroll away and the sound of the waves drifting through. I highly recommend this option. Exactly as described 👌
Exactly what we needed. Suitable 5/6 people. Epic location. Close to Miramar Town Centre. Airport 5min drive. Town Centre 15min. As advertised, perfect fit as advertised.
You need a new front door key. It was hard to use. The property was very nice although I didn't like the opaque glass partition between the bathroom and living room. The proximity to the sea was good except that in high wind a lot of sand was blown about. Overall we enjoyed out stay.
Our daughter chose this place & we loved it! It was directly across from the Wellington Harbor. Our getaway had a private wall with large windows and skylights to let the sunshine in. We are from the US, so I learned how to use a plunger filter for coffee, a ceramic oven top, and more.
We watched ferry's, sailboats, and the sunrises on the harbor. A pier was next to us to explore out onto.
The rental is close to hiking/biking trails, playground & phenomenal reserves to walk or drive to.
It is also in walking distance of a grocery store, and restaurants.
It was clean, with storage for your belongings, a large, hot shower to soak your muscles after a long day of exploration.
Perfect little beach house––just the right size and set-up for our trio with 2 ensuite bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchenette, and comfortable attached living area. On arrival we enjoyed a sunny spring evening happy hour on the lovely terrace out front, delighting in all the family antics on the well-visited sandy beach across the street and drinking in the expansive view out over the bay, replete with cruise ships, ferries, and all manner of other water vessels, before walking 3 blocks inland to the Little Sprig pub for a delicious supper and local award-winning beer. We were happy to have experienced that terrace time, as the next evening, after spending the day at the fabulous Te Papa Museum in the city (only 20 minutes away), it rained––but we were cozy inside and turned in early, lulled to sleep by rainfall on the skylights overhead. We highly recommend this relaxing seaside haven so close to Wellington with all it has to offer, but removed from its hustle and bustle.
Fantastic location, lots of things you need for your stay. Great views and a perfect spot. Comfy, cosy with great outdoor space and doors that opened everything up. Trudi was brilliant to deal with, and was on hand all the time. Loved our time here and would stay again.
