The property was great! As a disabled veteran the stairs were a bit hard to climb, but that’s a very specific thing and the property owners were not at fault for that. I’ll own that because of my own injuries. The hosts were very responsive and helped out whenever needed. Great place to stay!
There's several gates to get to Box 3, which makes it a little daunting to get through when you're coming back from a long day. I wish it had been noted that there was no central heat or air. The space heaters tripped the circuit breaker our first night, but they were quick to address it and comped us a day for the hassle, which was very considerate. The tight, steep spiral staircase was a bit challenging for our luggage. Another thing worth mentioning is that the refrigerator is very small, like a dorm room fridge, for anyone planning on bringing their own food.Overall though, our stay was pleasant and we liked being away from the hustle and bustle of everything. The inside is very clean and looks recently remodeled. It is a very beautiful, peaceful piece of property out in the country. The bedrooms were very cozy, and the converted barn hay loft balcony overlooking the longhorns grazing was really neat. We'd stay here again in the future.
