This beautifully designed, impeccably clean place exceeded all expectations. It certainly was the ideal eco retreat to relax, unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings. If you choose to leave to explore, stunning beaches are a short drive away. Thank you Karen and David for all the extra touches that ensure your guests feel special and welcome. I will be back.
Karen was a wonderful host and the accommodation was in pristine condition. It is a great place to come to relax and recharge. Waipu Cove is also quite close. The fire burning stove was so cosy on the rainy night.Thank you also for the extra treats we found in the fridge and cupboards. The library with interesting books was a bonus. We really enjoyed our short stay, thank you!
Karen and David were incredibly warm and welcoming, greeting us as soon as we arrived. Their home was beautiful and exactly as described in the listing. The abundance of windows filled the space with natural light, which we especially enjoyed in the mornings.Karen thoughtfully provided delicious baked goods along with breakfast essentials such as milk, yogurt, juice, coffee, and tea. She was also very responsive to our questions and always happy to help whenever we needed anything.I would highly recommend staying here, especially if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat away from the busy city life!
Such a beautiful property and the photos do not do it justice! Karen was an amazing host. The foggy sunny morning view was incredible. The place is beautifully designed which doesn't come across in the photos. If you love minimal architecture with native botanical vibe you should book. She also made us afghans and had fresh squeezed orange juice in the fridge for the next morning. I will be back
