This was a very overpriced old musty cottage. The pictures online were NOT what we arrived to. We complained the TV wasn’t working, the cottage had a strong musty smell, and had bugs. There was no fire extinguisher. The couch was broken. The bathroom floor and door were dirty. After contacting the host about the TV not working he replied it did work. The barbecue was not clean, so we locked up and went out for dinner. While we were out he entered the cottage to fix the TV without asking our permission. The hot water in the bathroom had soap or something in it and ran steady with milk like bubbles in it. The tub tap ran yellow water to start. Two beds were satisfactory, two beds were old and falling apart…we actually put clothing in between the beds and wall to stop the noise when we rolled over. Our 81 year old mother refused to bath or shower while we were there. The pictures in the ad on the VRBO site are not at all what we arrived to, and we have pictures to prove it. It was Very misleading!! We came from BC to PEI to stay in Cavendish. We are simply sharing this for others to know what to expect. Signed One Very Disappointed Family.
