Family stay

I loved my stay. It was an easy 3 minute stroll one way to the crystal clear waters of Jervis Bay and 3 minutes the other way to Club Callala and golf course. The house was well kept, clean and very spacious. It was great for 2 families. Kitchen was well equiped and the outdoor deck with BBQ and TV was amazing. Can’t wait to go back

Not worth the price

I recently booked a holiday house for 3 nights, costing a steep 2900, expecting a premium experience for myself and friends who traveled all the way from Adelaide just for this trip. Unfortunately, the stay was a massive disappointment. Here's why:1. Non-Functional BBQA working BBQ is a basic feature for a holiday home, yet the one provided didn’t work at all despite the fact it was left dirty and no gas. This ruined our plans for outdoor grilling and quality bonding time.2. Spider Webs EverywhereThe house was poorly maintained, with spider webs in almost every corner. It felt like the place hadn't been cleaned in weeks, leaving us uncomfortable throughout the stay.3. Outdated 70s Bathroom with Hazardous TilesThe bathroom looked like it hadn’t been updated in decades. The slippery tiles were a serious safety risk, making every visit a careful ordeal.4. Leftover Toothpaste from Previous GuestsHygiene clearly isn’t a priority here. Discovering leftover toothpaste from previous occupants was not only disgusting but also unacceptable for a property at this price point.5. Dirty and Poorly Equipped KitchenThe kitchen was outdated and dirty, with only minimal, mismatched cutlery and utensils. Cooking meals for the group was a frustrating and unpleasant experience.For a property priced at 2900 for 3 nights, this level of neglect and lack of basic functionality is unacceptable.

Hi I am sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy our house. I can confirm that the house was clean and tidy, unfortunately been in a coastal location the spider webs are inevitable because of the location of the property. I was in the house 1 day prior to your arrival and cleaned all the spiderwebs away from around the house. I apologise regarding the bbq, it is now working and the issues you raised with it have been addressed. In regards to the kitchen and bathrooms this is an old house which you could see in the photos when you booked the property. However, they are functional and clean in every aspect and with regards to the tiles been slippery in the bathroom we have not encounted them to be slippery unless a serious about of water is going on them and the floor mat provided is not been used. In regards to you stating it was a poorly equipped kitchen, I can confirm that we provide adequate dishes, bowls, cutlery, pots and pans, glasswear, kids plates and cups and everyday kitchen utensils. Together with an air fryer, sandwich press, slow cooker and an electric fry pan just to name a few.
