Great property in an ideal location for our family of 5. Access to many of the amenities of the Langham, at less than half the cost of a similar apartment in the hotel tower.
Our only issues were around communication with the management company. The links sent via Expedia are not hyperlinked so a pain to open. And having to give a lot of details and credit card information is frustrating when I feel like all that is given upon booking with Expedia.
In terms of the unit itself, overall excellent property.
Small suggestions/issues:
-The security swipes are very inconsistent- often wouldn't open the doors into the foyer or pool. They need to be fixed but I'm assuming it is a strata issue.
-We loved the electronic blinds until a number stopped working, meaning we had some interruption of our view. The maintenance man came the day after I notified the issue and he said they were all battery powered so needed charging cables. I feel like this needs to be checked by the manager regularly as it was annoying and a bit dangerous having to get up on chairs to try to switch the charging cable between blinds.
-I appeciate that the owner/manager likes to give the unit some flair, but it seemed like excessive decorations on every surface. And a drinks trolley in the main living area. I had to put most of it away to avoid our boys crashing into something and breaking it!
Overall we had a great mini-break and enjoyed the Gold Coast even in winter.
