Super comfortable beds. Nice big tv and we could watch Netflix, Prime. Clean and bright. Weather wasn’t good enough to sit outside but beautiful area behind house with chairs for all ofnua
Beautiful first stop on our East Coast trip. The house was quaint, clean and well appointed. It was minutes to the town of Sydney and a lovely resting spot between days on the Cabot Trail. The hosts were responsive and helpful. 10/10 highly recommend!!
Good location, but a bit hard to find especially if you arrive after dark. There is no house number at the road and the house is not very visible. They need a better cleaning service. A bbq outside would have been nice, otherwise the kitchen has everything it’s needed. The rooms are nice and the beds comfortable. We stayed for two weeks, so the washing machine and the dryer were greatly appreciated.
This lovely renovated home was very welcoming. Being three couples, the house was spacious and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The location is well suited to easily get around. Our stay in the area was to explore the region and visit the Fortress Louisbourg. We had a minor issue with the WIFI, but the owner was prompt to answer our text and come and resolve the problem. We were all very pleased with our stay.
The accommodations exceeded our expectations. The heat pump on the ground floor and the air conditioner in the upstairs bedroom were welcomed features. The host was very accommodating. Highly recommended.
Great except, on such a busy, wavy road and with no one home, he needs to post the house number on the property. Wasted a lot of time and finally a neighbour led me to the house.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Has lots of potential, but cleanliness was terrible. Crumbs and sticky marks on kitchen table, hair on bathroom floor, dust and dirt on many surfaces throughout, soggy and smelly towels in a drawer in rhe kitchen, hairs in bed sheets, broken lawn chair, empty coffee can and empty/unfilled items throughout, such as body wash, shampoo, etc. It basically felt like the owners have a lack of pride in the upkeep of the property. Definitely, there is need for a better cleaning staff. I feel that, in being asked to pay a cleaning fee for this place, the guest is being fraudulently taken for extra money, as it clearly wasn't cleaned prior to arrival. Also, we arrived at night to find the driveway poorly marked and no outside lighting. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to avoid trip hazards on the way to the door. In sum, one night here was more than enough.

not quite "the white house"
Older house recently updated but poorly completed....drywall dust not cleaned up, loose door handles, kitchen drawers that did not work properly, over the stove microwave with cord that came out and plugged in counter outlet. Spring rental, and the ants and lady bugs were sharing the space. BUT....the price was right....so lower your expectations and be happy!
