About this property
Lexington Lakefront Home with Breathtaking Views of Lake Huron
Charming, richly appointed, and newly renovated 1,800 square foot bungalow directly on the shores of Lake Huron with 50 ft. of beachfront. The home offers opportunities for lots of activities, including water sports, right from the property. Take in the gorgeous views from the house and deck areas of the spectacular sunrises and warm sunsets which cast brilliant and varied colors across the lake.
The house has 4 bedrooms, with an occupancy limit of 8. Two bedrooms on the 1st floor have queen beds and share a full-bath. There are 2 bedrooms areas upstairs. One bedroom has 4 twin beds. The other bedroom has a queen size bed. The upstairs bedrooms share a small full-bath on the 2nd floor. This house is a true family, friends, or romantic, year round getaway!
The kitchen is clean with every amenity, and includes new granite counter tops and new appliances. The kitchen/living/dining room areas have an open floor plan with spectacular views of the lake.
The best features of the home are the decks with ample furniture to relax, and a porch swing above the boat house with sweeping views up and down the shores of Lake Huron. The outdoor area offers room for lawn activities. There are steps down to the water. Beach conditions will vary depending on seasonal changes and changes in lake water levels.
The house is equipped with 3 smart TVS and internet for your entertainment/technology needs. There is a custom electric fireplace on the 1st floor that adds atmosphere and warmth on cool nights, and air conditioning on the 2nd floor for warmer nights. The home is stocked with linens and towels and a start-up supply of other basic paper products and necessities.
Enjoy all the seasons and activities that Lexington has to offer. You can find something year round to keep you busy and have fun, or kick back and relax. Take advantage of the beaches, kayak, fish, listen to music in the park, immerse yourself in the festivals, go wine tasting, shop/dine, walk the marina/boardwalk, play a round of golf, go berry picking, or hit the orchard for cider and donuts in the fall. Our town has been voted the (Best of the Best) resort town in the area and we've been dubbed "The First Resort North." Whether you are finding your favorite restaurant in the spring, renting a boat in the summer, enjoying the crisp air and colors of fall, or hunkering down in front of the fire with a good book and a puzzle during the winter, Lexington is the place for you!
The house is located on a quiet street off noisy M-25 in a quaint and beautiful neighborhood. Lexington (5 miles north) boasts shopping, restaurants, and a public beach with a park area and harbor; Port Huron/Fort Gratiot (13 miles south) offers a full range of shopping and restaurant amenities; Croswell (11 miles) has the Swinging Bridge; Port Sanilac (17 miles north) is where you can visit the Port Sanilac Lighthouse. The home is only 70 miles north of Metro Detroit; in less than 1 ½ hours, you can be 'Up North' watching freighters and sailboats and swimming in a peaceful and serene location.

About the host
Hosted by Anne Kelly
Our family purchased this home in Summer 2020. This home was previously listed as a rental on VRBO. We looked for a property in the area for quite some time and finally found the perfect vacation home. A little bit of paradise right in Lexington!
