Oldman river serene seriously private cabins pet, family and fisher friendly.
A very private off grid cabin and attached RV on a 500 acre ranch with a mile and a half fish loaded riverfront. Rustic but warm and cozy; great for a romantic getaway, family gathering or fishing trip. Excellent jump off point for visits to Waterton Park ,Crowsnest Pass, and the Rocky Mountains. Minutes to Crowsnest, Castle, Waterton and Carbondale rivers and a creek a day as long as you stay. Hiking, fishing, berry picking, biking, swimming and abundant flora and fauna. And we are pet friendly!

About the host

My late wife and I started a horse based business in 1980 and finally settled down to this property in 1993 hoping for a more relaxed pace in our senior years. Still waiting for that relaxing part!
Why they chose this property
This river valley provides great fishing with abundant wildlife and is very very private. Cabin located in the middle of 500 acres and steps from the mile and a half riverfront.
What makes this property unique
Very private and quiet with a mile and a half riverfront and only minutes to the mountains and more rivers. Waterton park , Crowsnest Pass and Head smashed In buffalo jump only a few of local attractions. This cabin is off grid and it and the RV are solar powered. Most amenities are available. Two and a half hours south of Calgary International airport
