This cabin was DIRTY ! We had to purchase cleaning products to clean the filthy floors. Our shoes stuck to the kitchen, dining, and bathroom floors. The bed sheets had not been changed and we had to wash them before we would sleep in them. It's in bad repair and in need of some TLC. Last but not least, they shut off the internet the night before we were to leave. Not going back and will not recommend this cabin to anyone.
Quiet and spaciousness parking. This cabin is the furthest from the main road. This cabin is the 2nd place on right past the "Y", not the first as the driving instructions state. Fortunately, no one was at the 1st cabin when we tried our key code and it did not work. This has 3 bedrooms. One king bed, 2 queens, and 2 roll aways. Another area on the listing said it was one bedroom so we weren't exactly sure what we were getting. It was plenty of room for my husband and myself. Small kitchen and the refrigerator is finicky. The freezer was not functioning when we arrived but we adjusted the thermostat slightly and it kicked on. Be careful though because you may have frozen items if left too long in the refrigerator. The sponge in the kitchen was used so that grossed me out. I highly recommend you do not used the propane stove in the living room as it's an open flame and no exhaust unless you open the windows. My husband and I are very familiar with propane heating and cooking and this was completely unsafe. Bring a carbon monoxide detector if you plan to use it. There are a couple electric heaters that are much safer. Overall, nice little place. Review was based on misleading information in the description (no playground, no firepit, poor directions, used sponge in kitchen, and unsafe propane fireplace). This is a CABIN in the WOODS. There will be rat droppings (porch but none visible inside), ants, and the usual rustic features of being off-grid (with Wi-Fi).
Nice little place, and perfect for what we needed. There were only three of us staying here, but there were 7 beds, including fold-outs, plus a good-sized couch and chair, so it could easily handle more people if needed. It was nicer than we were expecting for such a rural area. Definitely use the GPS coordinates to get there. They will take you directly there, but this cabin is one of several in a group, and you need to drive past a semi-industrial looking area to get to this cabin and one other. Just follow the GPS.
It was difficult to find- directions given could have been more helpful by giving road names instead of turn at this Y or that Y.
We decided to use our our own dishes and cook outside on the porch ( which was wonderful) as pans were greasy and mouse leavings in the cupboards and drawers. I would suggest to owners check with the cleaner.
We certainly enjoyed the quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. Not much soap for showering or washing just a small tube of body wash. But luckily we were camping in the rest of our trip and had soaps and towels.
I actually would recommend this cabin if you’re aware of the issues. It was pristine Idaho and the people in town wonderful, helpful and hospital.
Thank you

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Beautiful!
The cabin location is beautiful and ideal. Very clean and accommodating. Finding it was very challenging. Cabins and roads are not marked. Communication (not anyones fault) was challenging because of a power outage but locals were very helpful and kind. Overall I loved it! I would definitely come back.
This property has remote outdoors hiking , atv, snowmobile riding and hunting that is unparalleled in the lower 48 states. Totally surrounded by Rocky Mountains that are 80 miles of remote untouched rugged mountains the whole way to Montana. Owners and locals very friendly and helpful.
