Very unhappy
We had booked for two separate stays.The host cancelled our first reservation due to a Cyclone, which I accepted without question until I got there and learned there was very little damage to that area and was not sure of the problem that would have caused the cancelation. Here are unacceptable issues with my second reservation. 1. I requested to modify the booking by the change date of the March 15 and never heard back from host acknowledging or denying if my change was approved. I have the VRBO messaging to verify this. 2. As there was no change in the number of days in my request, just the arrival day it should have been an equal change financially. 3.As I never heard anything my host should have sent me the access information on the day that I was originally intended to arrive - she did not, that is unacceptable as I was denied access to a property that I had paid for. 4. Host did not respond to my multiple VRBO messaging requesting information about entry in a reasonable time frame, leaving me to wonder if this was a scam property. 5. Eventually, they let me know (on day two of the original booking) that they could not accommodate the 3rd day on my modification, so my booking was reduced to two days. 6.On arrival there were wet towels and bedsheets hanging in the closets. There was no hot water for hours. Very weak WIFI which kicked you off every couple of minutes. No refund for change of days - host blamed VRBO booking process. Very unhappy!
