Experience gorgeous sunsets from the two-story great room, while relaxing on the deck, or fishing from the dock. Enjoy grilling or find everything you need to prepare a fantastic meal in our well-equipped kitchen.
Hang out on the upper or lower lawn for yard games (provided), or use Big Joe, paddleboards, water trampoline, or the canoe to enjoy the lake.
There is ample room for sleeping or finding a quiet place to read a book indoors or out. Play games and reconnect with family or friends on one of two huge dining tables (one indoors, one outdoors).
Escape the city and enjoy all that nature has to offer on our private wooded lot on a quiet lake. Every season here has something to offer! Snowshoe on the lake, sled or ski local trails, take long quiet walks on the dirt roads, and enjoy the beauty of fall colors up north!
Want to explore the area? We are also not far from Kathio State Park, Cayuna mountain bike trails, and Grand Casino Mille Lacs. Aitkin, Crosby, and Brainerd are fun to visit.

2nd Annual Girl's Weekend

This was our 2nd time for girl's weekend at this cabin and it was just as great as it was last year! All the amenities are fabulous. Great living space and kitchen! The outdoor space is fantastic! Plenty of room on the dock for chairs. We will stay again! Thanks Krista!

Another great stay

We returned to Greene Co cabin due to its location. We had a relaxing stay with no need to leave with all the lake activities. Very clean and comfortable. We will definitely return, hopefully for a longer stay. Krista is a great host!

Great cabin, nice dock and beach

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It's a beautiful place. Our boys really enjoyed swimming and playing in the water and we enjoyed sitting out on the dock. The only drawback was the bugs. Thankfully, the end of the dock was a good reprieve.

Relaxing getaway

Greene County cabin is a great place to stay and relax! We enjoyed our time on the water and indoors playing games. Such a comfortable setting - just feels like home!

My name is Krista. My husband, Andrew, and I live in St. Paul, MN. We have three kids. Our oldest is married, and they farm an hour north of the Twin Cities. Very exciting! We have a daughter who is in college and our youngest son is just finishing high school.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this cabin just as the pandemic was starting and shortly after I lost both of my parents. The cabin and its beautiful setting was a welcome distraction and a lovely place to heal as our family grieved the loss of my parents and also navigated the challenges the pandemic brought to our kids. We hope that those renting the cabin will also be blessed by this amazing, beautiful, peaceful place!
