Cozy, comfortable and clean. Loved the layout and decorating. Functional kitchen, comfortable furniture in living room and nice sized TV. Also liked that each bedroom had its own TV. Amenities available were good, close to activities and short drive to downtown Galena.

Such a cute place! Very clean and nicely decorated. The host went above and beyond when I asked if they were able to make a gift basket for my fiancé. So nice! We definitely will stay again!

Perfect Galena Experience

The house was perfect for my fiancee and I - clean, kitchen was well equipped. The location was perfect for us - a bit outside of the crowded Galena area, but a short drive away from everything.

It was very nice and convenient location. Well supplied as well. Only suggestion is maybe upgrade toilets to normal vs short. 6 ft husband difficult to get up off of. Very good communication with host as well.

Great weekend in Galena

Had a very nice stay at this 2 bedroom house. Photos pretty much says it all, nice little house. Great location, great neighborhood, beds were good. If you stay during the spring or winter months bring wood, the wood they had for us was wet and hard to start a fire with. Overall had a very good time and would stay at this location again.

Great Cottage

Our family had a wonderful time at this property. Cottage has everything we needed and owners were very responsive. Owners club had a really nice pool and tennis courts. Not crowded at all. A small tidbit, boat rentals are half price during the week! Loved that and was able to take a pontoon boat out a few times for fishing. Overall, a really great stay and look forward to going back in the future.

Cute place…didn’t like carpet in living room as it was quite stained and dirty…upstairs bathroom light only had one light lite and was hard to apply makeup….need to get somebody to keep up with weeds in flowers. Had a fun time!

This little place is gem! We had an amazing time staying in the cabin, everything was right there that we needed. It’s a place that could use a little bug protection inside, or is it just part of the natural preserve? :) Other then that, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. 2 small kids and 2 adults and plenty of space for all of us.

Overall stay was great. Love the settlement homes. Property manager was great. But I have to agree with another review that the place could be a little cleaner. Spider webs and dead bugs behind doors, mold on the bottomOf the shower curtains, someone please vacuum behind the head of the beds…..had to stare at it for a while and still not sure what that is. And the towels need to be replaced, they would be perfect for drying a car after a wash.

Love the location!

Home was cozy and clean. We only made a frozen pizza one night, but there was every kitchen utensil and appliance you could think of ready for you. Would be an excellent kitchen for someone, like me who likes to occasional make homemade meals while on vacation. Home is not far from downtown galena. Loved the access to the owners club amenities! Was able to take my girl swimming & the water in the indoor pool was warmer than I expected. Great home away from home. We’d definitely stay again!
