Welcome to The Mercantile House! Located in the heart of Prince Edward County, one of Ontario's most favoured holiday spots. The property is located in a quiet area and backs onto a conservation area. It is located steps away from Roblin Lake, a hidden gem of PEC. A short drive will take you to the wineries, beaches and many of the local attractions & good eats that The County has to offer!

This charming apartment is located on the top floor of The Mercantile House. The home has a fully equipped kitchen with all of the essentials. The bathroom has a soaker tub which is ideal for families with young children. The guest suite is ideally suited to host 4 adults comfortably or families with children. There are two bedrooms: one with a Queen bed and one with a King bed. There is also a pull out that turns into a double located in the living room. Please note that you will need to use exterior stairs to access the guest suite.
Stay & play - enjoy a complimentary gift from us during your stay when you book 3 nights or more! For families, a gift card to Wildlings Play Cafe will be included with your stay. If you're a group coming for a girls weekend or a couple on a romantic getaway, a gift card to a local winery to be used for a wine tasting will be included with your stay.
Ontario Provincial Parks passes for Sandbanks and North Beach are also provided. This allows you to park for free and to also bypass the line. Once your reservation is confirmed, we will provide you with the details on how to take advantage of the parking pass! Please note: the pass is valid from April 1st to November 30th.
The guest suite is centrally located in Ameliasburgh in Prince Edward County.

The property backs onto Harry Smith Conservation Area. The entrance to the conservation area is located directly beside the home with a trail just behind the backyard. You can go for a hike or take your bike out through the trails. The home is also steps away from Roblin Lake Beach. There is a park for children to enjoy and the shallow water of Roblin Lake makes it a great place to kayak, canoe, paddle board, go fishing or go for a swim.
We are located in a rural area and therefore a car will be needed to get around. If you require a taxi, limousine service or bike rentals, please let us know and we can provide you with some recommendations.
