Lovely decor, shabby chic in keeping with the time period of the home. Hubby had to get used to ducking through the doors at first.Close to the beach which we enjoyed very much.

The farmhouse is as pictured. It is a 150 year old farmhouse with charm and lots of character. It is homey and comfortable. The views are spectacular. There is a shop two minutes away where you can order live or cooked lobster and crab. Prices are very reasonable and worth checking out. There is a nice beach five minutes up highway 247. Dana is a very helpful and communicative host.

We stayed for our summer holidays : 2 adults and a 3 years old toddler. All in all, the description was as expected, and we liked the location, the large dining room, the cozy spaces, the internet TV, the view, the fact that is was a functional house with all main services. Loved Pointe Michaud Beach: we definitely recommend going to that beach - superb and so close. That being said, there were quite a few issues for us during our stay. So much so, that on the first night we wanted to cancel our stay. We didn't as we wanted to enjoy the little vacation time we had. - The host informed us on our arrival that there had been recent water damage in the kitchen, but that it was not dangerous : we did not feel that way : the most part of the floor along the sink counter was "soft" and would "sink" when walking on it, we could feel the studs where they were and we did in fact wonder if we would go through the floor. And we obviously worried about mold. -The blinds in 2 strategic places were unusable, and the dishwasher did not do its job properly. There were 2 power sockets without proper "lids". An other issue for us was the mattresses : they were old and "soft", toped with multiple layers of foams. Not comfortable at all. There were a few other issues that we mentioned to the host, so hopefully they will take our comments into consideration and correct a few things. We do not "not recommend" this place, as it is in general very nice, but check with the host, the state
